I really like this preload thingie but I like those plastic boxes way too much to just let them go

    • Elvick

It’s for digital only games too. Note inFamous: First Light.

      • pixxxelz

Yep I noticed that, PvZ Garden Warfare is digital only too iirc

        • Elvick

          That’s actually at retail too.

          • pixxxelz

You’re right! I had no idea

        • Zackasaur

Luckily, PvZ Garden Warfare is available physically. c:

            I know,

  • OverlordZetta

Wait, you mean this feature they were bragging about from day one is only just now starting?

    Dang Sony.

      Welcome to the videogame industry.

I’d wish for you to enjoy the ride, but it’s all suffering from here!

    • Elvick

Every company does it… MS did it *looks at streaming*, Nintendo too. *looks at no eShop for 3DS launch*

And I’d rather wait and have it work properly, rather than have it half assed and not work at all. But I guess I’m crazy for wanting things done right, rather than right now.

edit; And I swear, no one knows what “bragging” actually is anymore. ‘Gamers’ just assemble random words together these days.

      • Invisbin

Either way, still waiting the same amount of time.

  • 武神水樹

Infamous First Spark getting others on disc

  • Zackasaur

Nifty, but I will continue to buy retail copies I can actually own.

EDIT: But I will absolutely do that for First Spark. ♡

  • Unretributed

I don’t think I fully understand the benefit of this feature.

So basically, you’re paying for and downloading games before they come out but you can’t play them until they come out? Am I reading that right? What’s the point in that?

    • Zackasaur

You won’t have to wait for it to download once it is out. You will be able to play your game right away at midnight, if you so choose.

    • Azoz

Useful for people who have slow internet connections.
For me, it is not enough to download the whole game :(
      But it helps a lot.

  • badmoogle

Thanks but no thanks.Retail games cost me less and i prefer to have a physical copy (which i can sell if i don’t like it.)

    • Zefhar

Buying in retail is less expensive? Wow, in my country it’s the other way around. I guess it’s the imports and tax BS.

      • badmoogle

It’s not much here either but it’s definitely less.Even if i only win 1€ from buying from a retailer why on earth i should pay 1€ more for a digital version?

And anyway i buy almost all of my physical games from online shops like amazon and ebay and i save a LOT of money that way (even on day 1 games) than if i was to buy their digital versions. And like i said before it’s nice to have the option to sell them if you want to (even though personally i almost never sell my games)

  • Budgiecat

If you bought all those games on that list it would be $1060 wouldn’t fit the hard drive…

    • MrKappa

Which is why you gotta delete games and redownload them if you want to play them later.
One of the many cons of digital.

  • shogunknight

That means a new update is coming
