What are the chances of this getting a localisation?

    • http://www.gameanyone.com/DukeVerde DukeVerde

Probably in the single digits, but I still want it.

      • Elvick

Doubt it’s that low. Not like we haven’t gotten plenty of these already on Vita.

        • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Localizing Aquaplus games are a bit more difficult. I’m surprised we even got Aquapazza… For whatever reason. Hell, the PS3 version of that game was dead within a week anyway, so I’m still scratching my head, wondering why they bothered localizing that.

          • Elvick

Why is that? I don’t mean to imply it’s like… 80%, but I’d say it’s at least 10%. Gotten a lot of dungeon crawlers on Vita localized and games with fanservice are all the rage. :p

            • http://www.gameanyone.com/DukeVerde DukeVerde

If we get Moero Chronicle, we *might* get this one. <_< Who knows… As for dungeon crawlers in general… We don't really have anything quite like this one.

            • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Well, to my knowledge… There’s more red tape when it comes to Aquaplus games, so it’s not like localizing an original IP.

              • desponent

Just because aquaplus is an eroge maker doesn’t mean they can’t make tame game, see : Tears to Tiara 2.

                • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Ummm… I’m well aware of Tears to Tiara 2. Thanks for supporting my point, I guess? I already posted something like this earlier, wondering why they can’t break away from moe, lol.

      • desponent

        Two, with period in between.

    • Renaldi Saputra

chances are ATLUS might do it
      they localized aquapazza
but, well, they’re busy with those persona project, also almost nobody know this game
      so…. idk

  • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

    Character models are blah

  • Shippoyasha

My GOTY when the first game came out. I will be preordering it ASAP. The game is probably too sexy for localization. I just hope they add some dungeons and new characters. I wonder when the sequel is coming.

    • Budgiecat

      lol

    • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

What was good about the gameplay?

      • Budgiecat

        the exciting still picture gameplay

        • desponent

nice answer, show that you know a whole lot (of nothing).

          • Budgiecat

yeah right pal. Nice ASSuming there…

      • Shippoyasha

Good oldschool Wizardry style combat and it has a nice difficulty curve to it. A lot of class combinations.

    • Zackasaur

      lol

Just did a Google Images search…

    • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

      What’s your PSN?

  • Jesse

Is this related to the ToHeart2: Dungeon Travelers game? Just wondering since I see Aquaplus’ name there.

    • Shippoyasha

This series had its own original story from the To Heart one.

      • Jesse

        Ah, ok, just wondering. ^^

  • PrinceHeir

    Interesting :D

  • Budgiecat

another crap game under utilizing the Vita…..no respect lol

  • dark-kyon

i heard what this is a great dungeon crawler game.

    • kurosan9712

I actually liked ToHeart 2 Dungeon Travelers more…Perhaps because I’m a ToHeart fan

  • orzorzorz

sting made a DRPG? consider me interested

  • Gustavo

    It’s happening!!

    • Budgiecat

      Really?? What’s Happening?

      https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/102/367359589_6d445c3da5.jpg

yet another low budget crap moe game? someone stop it!!

      • Gustavo

Nice comment about a game you know nothing about.

        • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Actually, he’s right. It’s an Aquaplus title. I played the first game back in 2011. The second title looked just as low budget as the first one did, but then again.. It’s a dungeon RPG, so it’s to be expected.

It has some great artwork going for it, but as a dungeon RPG fan, it didn’t really blow me away or anything like that.

          • Gustavo

Don’t side with the troll, man.

            • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

I’m not siding with anyone here. I’ve played the original PSP game and the sequel was just more of the same. It’s a dungeon RPG. Those are already low budget as it is.

Go look up games by Experience. Demon Gaze is probably their highest budget dungeon RPG and even that still doesn’t begin to scratch the surface of the budgets usually used for RPGs. If you still think he’s trolling for telling the truth, then so be it.

              • 永次

I love low budget Dungeon RPGs, I’m playing now Toushin Toshi 3DS and it is awesome.

This looks like Toushin Toshi, it is, right?

                • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Yeah, I’ve been playing dungeon RPGs for a loooooooooooong time, haha. I don’t have a problem with them and I enjoy them for the most part, but it’s kind of sad to see someone who isn’t familiar with them trying to defend them by saying they aren’t low budget :/

                  • 永次

Well, Budgiecat said “crap game”, I believe that’s why Gustavo was upset.

                    • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Actually, he said “crap moe game”, which it kind of is in that regard. It’s moeshit, lol. The moe is its biggest selling point, honestly.

                    • Shippoyasha

I don’t consider it a crap game. It is actually pretty nice as a dungeon crawler. Love the difficulty curve too.

                    • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

I was fine with it as a dungeon RPG. My problems with moe pandering are a completely separate issue.

                    • Shippoyasha

It IS Leaf you know. They have made a name for themselves as an erotica/dating-sim company. It would be outrageous if they make a game that doesn’t have some moe.

                    • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Well yeah, I know who it is, lol. That still doesn’t mean I want to see it >.>

Besides… If 5pb. can break free from VNs to make a fighting game, then they can break away from moe :p

        • Budgiecat

lmao I played this on PSP dood…

        • LordKaiser

You flagged his post? If you did why?

          • Gustavo

Of course not, I believe in freedom of speech.

  • ayb_91

    الحمدلله والشكر. :)

    • http://twitter.com/M_Demolish Demolish

      hahaha why? :P

      • ayb_91

اللعبة كل ابوها بنات. غير كذا شوف الي على اليسار. محتشمة صراحة. :)

  • Bob Slim

So I look this up on google cuz I never heard of this game before, We ante never gonna get this out west are we wow it make senran kagura look tame

    • Budgiecat

Senran Kagura is actually animated and has some design effort involved. Its actually a good game…

      • Renaldi Saputra

for the anime, it’s a bleh

        • Bob Slim

          I like the anime btw

          • Renaldi Saputra

I don’t like bcos slutty chara, and another bad aspects

        • Budgiecat

          I dropped it pretty early can’t lie…

          • Renaldi Saputra

but, still, I don’t like Senran Kagura in general, except the gameplay maybe (?)
bcos slutty chara, sex joke, etc…
I don’t like the ripping clothes system also, but I guess it depends on how people look at it, ecchi fans gamers will find it creative, but people like me will hate it despite I still admit it being creative…

      • Bob Slim

I know that I love senran kagura I didnt say anything bad about it. I mean its a little TAME compare to this game

      • FitzpatrickPhillips

You have zero idea if this has design effort or not.

        • Budgiecat

Zero idea? Lol just take a look at it or play it. Simple.

  • Duc PC-QB

A port from cheap ass dungen rpg PSP game with no new content and they dare to charge that price ???

    • Renaldi Saputra

mostly it contains ecchi fanservice IIRC

      • Budgiecat

yeah like that totally justifies the inflated price for a lazy port lol

  • Guys its just a port of the psp game with trophies hopefully.

  • http://hatintime.com/ ShadowFang

Sting developed, you say? Sting, of “Knights in the Nightmare” and “Yggdra Union” and “Evolution: Far Off Promise”? I’m definitely excited…

*notices panty shot for cute little girl design in screenshot*

… oh, nevermind. More messed up, moe, fanservice-y, pervy cheap stuff. I almost would’ve put this on my radar! That’s a shame. I’ve liked Sting’s games in the past.

I’m (re)watching some of the older anime DVD’s in my collection right now, including A.D. Police & Bubblegum Crisis. Man, I really miss the days when Japan knew what WOMEN looked like. You want to do sexual stuff? Do it with women. Don’t give adorable little girls cartoonishly large tits and curves and bend them over in ridiculous poses.

I’m really getting sick of this current trend with small devs in Japan… no wonder the sales charts, and industry over there in general, are so weak at the moment. Why focus on the “perv audience” that’s so niche when the sales are so garbage? Why focus on what they want and find acceptable? Why not shoot to make more ambitious, broadly appealing stuff?

    • echokanon

Sting helped this company developed many visual novels in the past. My guess is they are just hired to help developing the game engines instead of designing the games. So technically we can still consider these games arent Sting’s games since what we loved about Sting is the game designs

    • http://www.gameanyone.com/DukeVerde DukeVerde

Broadly appealing stuff… Like what, exactly? GTA? Because murdering people and running over their corpse with a truck is so broadly appealing…?

      • Budgiecat

        thats Western stuff….

        • http://www.gameanyone.com/DukeVerde DukeVerde

And yet that is what “appeals’ to the broadest audience. That is what people find acceptable, so it must be what Vince wants.

          • Budgiecat

Broadest audience? In Japan? I think not. this is a Japanese game remember…

            • http://www.gameanyone.com/DukeVerde DukeVerde

So what’s the broadest audience in Japan? :P

              • Budgiecat

                mobile phones :P

                : (

                • http://www.gameanyone.com/DukeVerde DukeVerde

                  Ohhh, harsh…

            • outlawauron

GTA5 was the highest selling console game in Japan for 2013. It has far more appeal in Japan than 99% of all JRPGs.

    • Duo Maxwell

You were not there in the olden days. Even Card Captor Sakura has fanservice. Akazukin Chacha has fanservice. Heck, ZZ Gundam also has fanservice.

And there is nothing change from your good old days in the game industry either. I bet you didn’t even know about Nage Libre.

The only thing change in the Japanese game industry is everyone moved on to mobile shit.

This game is good. It has good music, good difficulty curve, and good dungeon. Shooting down it just because it has fanservice isn’t much different than thinking all FPS is bad because the only attraction is shooting people. For dungeon crawler fans, this game is good.

      • Renaldi Saputra

except that IIRC this game has a big amount of ecchi fanservice, also waifu material

it’s CERO D, what can you say

    • Shippoyasha

Except this game actually sold very well. And you seem to not know Aqua Plus. They have been doing fanservicey games for decades. In fact, it’s been 20 years.

      • Renaldi Saputra

        first created: October 1994
well, yeah, almost 20 years old
sadly aquaplus wasn’t well known outside japan until now, so that’s why many ppl don’t know

    • LordKaiser

I only agreed with your 1rst paragraph then you had to say this:

” I really miss the days when Japan knew what WOMEN looked like. You want
to do sexual stuff? Do it with women. Don’t give adorable little girls
cartoonishly large tits and curves and bend them over in ridiculous
      poses.”
Are you talking about lolicon or are you talking about anime fan service in general?

    • desponent

Fanservice and moe exist even way back, they’re just drawn differently now.

  • Warboss Aohd

Oh look, ANOTHER game with fanservice being a selling point.

Look, Fanservice is fine (in certain doses), but you shouldn’t have to use it as a selling point for your game.

    • JeremyTMH

The game is actually challenging, having cleared it 100% on the psp I would know. Well… if you all want to judge the game by how it LOOKs… then well, nothing i say will change anything.
