Xbox One launch title coming to PC?

Dead Rising 3

A listing for Dead Rising 3 has appeared on on the Steam database under the nickname “Walking.”

Dead Rising 3 was an Xbox One launch title last November. It was published by Microsoft and developed by Capcom Vancouver.

Microsoft recently said it wants to step up its PC games involvement, and this just might be one way it plans on doing that.

Too bad my-not-up-to-specs computer can’t run it if this is true.

If this is true awesome for any pc players. I LOVE this game and it is my fav current gen game so far. I can imagine some funny mods too.

    Microsoft and Steam?

    • SuperLuigi

Probably more like capcom and steam. Possibly whatever contract Microsoft had expires quicker than normal 3rd party exclusives and they dont care about renewing it.

If it is true is a good signal, hopes that is not a Xbox One exclusive anymore, if you know what I mean

I hear ya. If it comes to a console of your choice buy it! Great game and my favorite in the series.

I played and got platinum on DR2 and DR2 OTR, hopes I can make the same with DR3 in a near future

3 is the easiest by far so you should have no problem with this one. Still love the combo weapons/vehicles and has some of my favorite psychopath fights.

From what I hear MS pretty much funded the entire game. So it’s probably MS releasing the game on Steam.

        • SuperLuigi

Ah didn’t hear about that. Maybe this is the pc things the head of xbox was talking about the other day.

But didn’t they have Spartan Assault on Steam?

Anyhow, I imagine MS got as much impact out of this game being exclusive on the Xbox One as it’s gonna get, as far as using its exclusivity to lure people toward the console. If they release on Steam they might actual stand to make a little money on the game.

My laptop probably won’t be able to handle it, but this is still sweet to hear.

Eh. Now if DR1 ever gets a PC release call me.

  • DragonSix

    That was fast.

Really good game, easily my favourite in the series.
