Xbox boss Phil Spencer took to Twitter to answer more E3-related questions this morning.
“There are a few things coming prior to E3,” Spencer said when asked if we’d see anymore pre-show announcements like we did this week with Halo 5 and the $399 Kinect-less Xbox One. “Show is getting set so easier to see what we want to talk about prior.”
When asked if the recent announcements were ue to save time and show more at E3, Spencer said, ” Yea, wanted to make the show entertaining. Some special things I want to show so needed to do some things early.”
So what will we see at E3, then?
“The lineup at E3 looks good,” Spencer said. “A couple of things we are still trying to land but it’s coming together.”
He continued, “I know we’ll never please everyone. Having some new partners on stage, some old friends and knowing XBOX gamers are watching is fun.”
Asked if all of Microsoft’s E3 announcements have leaked, Spencer said, “Nah.”
Also, Spencer said that while he’s also “very focused on PC right now,” we probably won’t hear anything PC-related a E3.
Speaking of those partners mentioned earlier, it’s possible we’ll see Harmonix and Ubisoft on stage.
“Harmonix have been great supporters of XBOX and I want to make sure their games do very well,” Spencer said.
He added, “I think Ubi is doing a great job with their games right now. The Division looks like another great one.”
And finally, some general questions about Rare and Kinect games.
“Rare has a lot of good ideas of their own for their next game,” Spencer said.
He added, “I’m supportive of Rare working on the right game for the studio, I’m not pushing them to work on any specific genre.”
As for whether Rare’s next game is another Kinect title, we don’t know. But regardless, there are more Kinect titles on the way in general.
“You will see new Kinect games and work from platform on Kinect,” Spencer said.
