Third main Shin Megami Tensei re-releasing as PS2 Classic.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne will be available for PlayStation 3 via the PS2 Classics selection on PlayStation Network today.

Atlus teased a new PlayStation Network Shin Megami Tensei release today on Reddit yesterday, and an ESRB rating this morning confirmed it to be Nocturne.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne is the third main entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series. It first launched for PS2 in Japan in February 2003. An updated version called Nocturne Maniax, on which the western release is based, launched in 2004. In 2008, a final version, Nocturne Maniax Chronicle, launched in Japan, featuring Raidou Kuzunoha from the Devil Summoner series in place of the game’s original guest character Dante (from Devil May Cry).

More PS2 Classics is a good thing.

Now if only they were playable on PS Vita… or at least remote play compatible like PSone Classics…

  • Fujisawa Ruuzaa

    wooooohoooooo

  • Pyrofrost

Definitely good for people who haven’t had the opportunity to get the PS2 version.

  • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

I was hoping it would be this one, haha. Now I wonder how many people will pop up claiming it’s too difficult ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    • 罪罰

      97%

    • pixxxelz

People were complaining about the difficulty on SMT IV so the majority of them won’t get far on this one.

    • Pyrofrost

LOL, it will be the re-release of Super Metroid on the Nintendo eshop all over again xD

Seriously though, the game honestly isn’t difficult. It’s just a matter of being properly equipped and having the right demons with you. The fact that you can be face-rolled at anytime is more of a luck factor, and the only real hurdle I can recall in that game is Matador.

      • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

RNG kicked my ass so many times in that game, lol. I swear… It wasn’t even like it was my characters against the monsters. It was more like me VS the game, heh.

        • Pyrofrost

Haha, yeah, dat RNG can be merciless :p

          • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

It’s even been that way towards me in Persona, especially in 3. “Oh, don’t mind me. I’m just going to cast this Mudo with an incredibly low success rate on your main here.”

            GAME OVER

Are you fucking kidding me?! That and Hama were the bane of my existence. I can’t tell you how many times I lost my main or my entire party was wiped by that. Ugh.

            • MrFinalgamer

Those demons sure love their hama, and mudo skills >_>.

Still hate that dumb practice of “MC dies= game over” I can revive everyone else, can’t I? Why isn’t Yukari reviving me, or someone use a revival bead???

              • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

I know, right? I was pissed when Final Fantasy XIII took the same route with that.

“Oh look, you have other teammates that are still alive and can revive you with a phoenix down. Lol no. Lightning is dead, so the game ends.”

                • MrFinalgamer

It just begs the question, what happens, when you die? Do your party members just say there, and get killed? I TRAINED YOU ALL BETTER THAN THAT!

            • Pyrofrost

Or when the Press Turn system in Nocturne would work in the mobs favor instead of yours :p

              • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

                It’s always something, lol.

            • Dede Ogbe

Jesus christ, this brings up horrible memories of the final boss of the game. I actually refused to go back to P3 until i had a solid strategy against it. I would be perfectly fine in battle until he started whipping out Mudo and Hama. The worst part is your level doesn’t make a difference. When it comes to mudo/hama you can only really pray and hope to God your party members are feeling up to sacrificing themselves for the MC.

Hmmm… That reminds me I haven’t even finished this game yet. >,<

      This generation is too soft.

      • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

Gamers are to blame for wanting it too easy

        • DarthBrian

Case in point, the newer Telltale games like Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us. There’s nothing hard about those games at all. Just walk around and make choices and voila the game is done. They’re adventure games without puzzles because otherwise people wouldn’t be able to finish the story because puzzles are just too hard. waaaaaah. >_<

          • john doe

Tell Tale games are the Western equivalent to Visual Novels. They aren’t made for difficulty. They are made for story.

      • OverlordZetta

Don’t blame the people playing the easier games, blame the people making them easier in the first place.

The new Kirby and Pokemon are great examples of this. “Nintendo Hard” is something kids today will never comprehend.

        • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

No the devs are to blame since they don’t want to risk not selling as many copies of a game because the minority says the game is too hard

Child of Light hard is the way the game should be played, on normal it gets very boring

This is one of the reasons I liked Itagaki so much is he made his games challenging and didn’t care about the whiners. We’ll see how he approaches Devils Third, if it’s a true Itagaki game it’s going to be challenging

        • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

I’ll continue to blame the people. The demographics have changed over the decades, so the developers are having to cater to a different crowd these days. Back when I was growing up, the only people who even owned a game console on the block were the hardcore “nerds”. The shut-ins, basically, lol.

Some of the games were actually difficult back then… Not just because of “bad game design” as Serendipity put it, but just downright hard games. Nowadays, we have so many developers that are creating games mostly for the working Joe or family man that can dump a couple of hours a day into a game and feel like he accomplished something.

Whereas, if this were the NES/SNES/Genesis era… You would have probably just backtracked to where you were after obtaining hints, information, clues, as to where your next destination was within those two hours, lol. There are far too many games that hold your hand these days. I honestly laughed the last time I played a game and got multiple game overs on this boss, then it asked me if I wanted to switch it to Easy Mode.

I’m like, “What the hell? Really?”, lol. Hell, I even remember the original Devil May Cry doing something similar and that was during the PS2 era. I think if you died a certain number of times, it asks if you want to switch your guns to automatic so you could just hold the button and fire rather than push it repeatedly. Oh and let’s not forget the trophies.

‘Took your first step’ – Bronze
          ‘Used 10 continues’ – Bronze
‘Played for 5 hours’ – Bronze

So forth and so on. It’s ridiculous. Man, if I died on a game in the 80’s or 90’s, I didn’t get a pat on the back or congratulated for stepping out of town, lol. I don’t know what happened or when it started, but it’s just kind of sad and it really shows who started gaming when as you start to see people complain about the difficulty of something that is relatively easy by today’s standards (take Nier for example).

I remember watching this video on Youtube of this guy dying in the same room time after time again due to a trap that would kill him instantly every time he touched it. He did this for 20+ minutes before finally managing to clear the room, lol. Then you have people like my friend that comes to bitch at me about Wizardry since he knows I’ve been following it since the early 90’s. “This game is cheap! I accidentally ran into a wall and it killed 3 of my party members! It was only the first dungeon!”

Well, no shit. It’s called a trap (an electric one at that). He couldn’t deal with the “insane difficulty” of the game, so he said he would never play another one again and told me I was insane for even liking dungeon RPGs, lol.

A lot of gamers from this generation just want to be spoonfed and don’t want to work for anything it seems. You see guys always looking to buy accounts for MMOs because it will take too much time and effort to reach max level, so they’d rather just be given the rewards without actually gaining any experience from playing the game.

It’s because of this kind of mentality that I’d be willing to bet you plenty of people are going to buy this on PSN thinking, “Oh! It’s another SMT I haven’t played! Sweet!” and are going to turn right around and condemn the game for being “cheap” because it’s honestly a lot more difficult than a lot of games were currently have on the market (what they are used to, basically). They won’t be able to just mash their way through battles and that’s what will frustrate them because it’s not EASY MODO and won’t let them just cruise through the game doing stupid shit over and over again, but constantly winning despite being underleveled, undergeared, so forth and so on.

Get the popcorn ready, guys. This is going to be good.

          • SerendipityX

I don’t necessary agree but this is how I felt about P4G, everybody praised that game when it was far, far too easy even on the hardest difficulty. After I dropped 300 hours on the original P4 where it was luck based with the skills for Personas and bosses weren’t nerfed with weaknesses.

Also I really don’t get the hate for easy mode games for people who are just there to have fun. I don’t have all the time to get through all the games like I used to anymore, so sometimes I turn the difficulty down just to experience the game or if I’m playing with someone who doesn’t understand how to play (had to do this numerous times with co-op in Tales).

The people who hate hard games, probably don’t even really like the games they are playing. Hence they have no desire to put in time and effort for it, they just want attention.

          • MrFinalgamer

I think more people will buy the game based on Atlus’ name, rather than it being a SMT game. =P

            • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

You’re right, but I don’t have much respect for people simply buying games for a name they carry.

      • SerendipityX

I thinks it less about being soft and more about good game design. I care more about smoother experiences than “difficulty” that’s really just bad game design.

        • Solomon_Kano

I wouldn’t necessarily equate difficulty to poor game design. There are times when difficulty results from poor design choices rather than any intention of making the game tough, but it’s not an inherent flaw if a game is designed to challenge a player.

Or is that what you’re saying? I keep reading your comment differently when I reread it lol.

          • SerendipityX

lol Thats exactly what I was saying.

            • Solomon_Kano

      The Dark Souls of Persona?

      • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Something like that… Even though Dark Souls really isn’t difficult if you were gaming in the 80’s or 90’s though, lol. Dark Souls is like a walk at the beach compared to games back then.

        • Unretributed

Remember Shadow of the Beast 2 and Ninja Gaiden?

          I still have nightmares…

          • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

            Ninja Gaiden 2 was fun

            • Unretributed

Are we talking about the same game? The NES ones? Those were pretty difficult. And Shadow of the Beast 2 is probably still one of (if not THE) hardest games ever made.

              • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

Probably not, was referring to the PS version

          • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

            I don’t know about nightmares

        • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

How’s this compare with Digital Devil Saga 2

          • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

DDS is definitely on the more difficult side of things, but it isn’t that bad once you get the mechanics down. Otherwise, stomachaches are really going to screw you, lol. I felt Nocturne was more difficult than DDS2, but then again… I thought DDS1 was more difficult than DDS2 also.

            • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

              Cool thanks

  • Dede Ogbe

Was just thinking bout this series yesterday! (actually more like cursing the fact that SMT4 still hasn’t been released in Europe…) Never got to play this, so i’ll definitely pick it up.

And now more people can see why SMTIV is so disappointing.

As much as I love it, it can’t be denied.

Strange Journey was pretty great. Still not nearly as great as SMTIII though.

Haven’t finished this game. It’s really great though!

      That’s what I heard

  • OverlordZetta

I was never too interested in this, to be honest. Is DDS on PSN yet? My copies of both got misplaced when I was moving things some years back and I’ve been itching to play again.

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

I heard DDS is on PSN, but I also heard about save files being corrupted, so I’m not sure I would trust it. I don’t know if it’s on the NA PSN Store or not though. I only heard about this issue occurring on the EU PSN Store release (I assume they are all the same, bugs and whatnot, but you never know).

Should have gone and localize Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax Chronicle Edition that replaces Dante with Raidou so we could get a cover like this.

      EDIT:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KeHYA44qKU

Dante cutscene is better too. :p

      • PrinceHeir

Nah Raidou is still better than Dante.

The only reason people liked Dante is because he came from another game outside of the series which was probably new for some people(Japan has been doing this for years now)

And they didn’t even bother using DMC1 Dante. I understand they used DMC2 to promote the game, but DMC1 Dante fit perfectly in the dark atmosphere of DMC1. Though i do admit DMC2 is really a dark and serious game.

And Radou actually has a purpose on the game. I read only that he time travel or something and ended up here.

Though the good thing about this crossover is that Kazuma Kaneko designed the Devil forms of Dante and Vergil in DMC3 and MVC3 which look amazing as hell.

    • 罪罰

it doesnt add anything worth doing it.

never heard of this game before… but that guy at the picture appeared in the SMT x FE teaser right? i’m interested, the game is worth the money? (in case i find the PS2 disc)

    • Pyrofrost

Yeah, it’s definitely worth it. Just don’t expect the polish or the hand-holding that you’d get in Persona 4.

      • 罪罰

        Nocturne is very well polished

        • Pyrofrost

If you’re speaking of early/mid 2000 standards, I completely agree. Not bashing or anything, just being honest. It’s not like that takes away from the greatness of the game.

IMO, Nocturne is still the best game Atlus has put out to date, and it has aged well to me.

True, but the Dante used was DMC2’s iteration.

          • RiversOblivion

Eh, but Dante doesn’t really change that much between DMC and DMC2. I mean, it’d be different it was DMC:Devil May Cry, but.

      • kenshee

True enough, But sadly it’s about the closest thing to look forward to, which I thought made my point haha. But you’re right, the way I put it would be confusing for people.

I like the persona games quite a lot, I just don’t like them in the way I liked nocturne and dds…

        • http://www.cubiz.tk/ Auragar

The two series (at least after P3) were meant for to separate audiences, though I love both, and all Atlus titles.

            Yep, exaclty ^^

I guess all I’m saying is the audience that used to get catered to with the games I mentioned, is being starved a bit atm. Or at least I haven’t found (m)any games in the same genre since then.

                I approve of this message.

              • Samsara09

I knew it.I baited you in order to see what’s so funny.Yeah,if he meant “user friendly”,then this game is a nightmare in that regard.

                • Pyrofrost

You still have much training to do, in order to earn the title, “Master-Baiter.”

                  • Samsara09

I got what I wanted, besides,we are all pals.Just some innocence baiting won’t kill.

              • badmoogle

                Lol ok.
So is this supposed to be a God-mode game where only some secret ultra elite players like yourself could enjoy? :p

                • Samsara09

Some of Atlus’rs rpgs are among the hardest around.I am not joking. They have quite a reputation for this. Not trying to scare you,but just to say it takes skill, lots of experience and practice.of course, many of Atlus’s rpgs are among the best around.

have fun!Well,I am playing devil survivor overcloked.Don’t have as much experience as my buddy who is addicted to the series…but I am having a blast.

                  • badmoogle

                    Ok i’ll have that in mind.Thanks. :)

                    • Samsara09

Well, have fun.Don’t worry. The difficult is well rewarded by the quality of their games.Atlus’s rpgs are among the best around.

                    • badmoogle

Thanks.Like i said some posts above i think i like challenging and rewarding games (the Souls games being my favourite from last gen)…;)

                    • Samsara09

yeah.the adrenaline I get from hard bosses and battles is just epic.
besides, with proper tactic and a little grinding when necesssary to get stronger demons, you will make it.i doubt it is something so otherworldly hard.

                      remember,atlus’s games are turn based.

              • Samsara09

so…in this gif…who would be sir pyrofrost, and who would be you?

                • Pyrofrost

I’m the sexy dame, of course.

            • gamelayer

It’s tough and at times you can lose your way, but that said you can always do some grinding and leveling up if you reach a difficult boss.

        • tokyobassist

This was my first SMT game and unless you have brass balls you’ll hate this game.

          • badmoogle

I don’t know anything about this game and series but generally i like to believe that i like challenging games.
(Demon’s and Dark Souls being my favourite games of last gen).

    • Pyrofrost

By “good entry point,” do you mean something that is user-friendly, takes things slow, and teaches the player; or just in the awesome factor?

      • badmoogle

No i meant it as a good game that you don’t have to know what has happened in the previous games in order to enjoy its story.

        • Pyrofrost

Then yes, you can pick up and play that game without any knowledge of the previous entries.

        • Samsara09

All four shin megami tensei are independant from each other….it kinda resembles how things work in final fantasy.

any more questions? This series is HUGE.

    • Dystopiq

      Totally

    • MrFinalgamer

I would say DDS is a better entry point. But this game is great too!

    • shogunknight

Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga series are difficult but not something to avoid, its a good start. Not everything is black and white like final fantasy series (e.g. lightling good against water). The magic names are different but once you are used to it, you are good. Have you played any Persona games?

      • badmoogle

Nope i haven’t played any Persona game either.High school settings are putting me off (yeah i know it’s a shallow reason but it’s one of my pet peeves in games) :/
I hope i’m not eaten alive here for daring to say this. :/

        • Pyrofrost

          Preferences man, no worries. *brofist*

        • shogunknight

Well, if devil summoner was on PSN that would have been great for you. Get nocturne, at least its one of the best and memorable franchise of the Megaten series

          • Sevyne

Devil Summoner is on PSN in NA. Don’t know if it is in EU though.

            • shogunknight

Ah thats good, do you know if its only part 1 or both 1 & 2

              • Sevyne

Only 1 so far. Hoping 2 is soon.

                • shogunknight

Ah ok. Thats good to know

                  • Sevyne

Atlus has really been on fire lately with the PS2 Classics, so I can see them trying to get all of the PS2 games up eventually.

                    • shogunknight

Yeah, its really great to see them bring back some of their memorable titles. I hope they port it to vita as well or PS4 if possible

                    • Sevyne

I’d even settle for them just making the PS2 Classics compatible with Vita/PS4, but that’s just me dreaming lol.

        • Sevyne

You can like/dislike whatever you want. It only becomes a problem when someone tries to push their personal opinions off as facts.

    • 罪罰

      Megami Tensei 1 in Snes.

      • http://www.cubiz.tk/ Auragar

lol Now that game is difficult.

  • LustEnvy

Cool, Pokemon meets horror. I owned this, and I expected more from the story, to be honest. I did get everything though, and it’s worth playing at least once.

I think Digital Devil Saga is better though.

    • 罪罰

      pokemin wuth horror
      dont get me started

      • LustEnvy

Post apocalyptic setting with barely any plot after the fact, and all you’re basically doing all game is collecting monsters. Yeah, gotta catch ‘em all.

I know people have a hard on for this series, so I don’t expect anything less than hostility for not being on the bandwagon.

I remember when JRPGs had a strong story. This wasn’t one of them. Setting was awesome though.

        • Pyrofrost

          Not everyone will be hostile.
However, this game fits more into the realm of dungeon crawler than JRPG.

There is very little dialog and narrative, and more reading between the lines and paying attention to all the little snippets you get (also fully completing Amala and getting the True Demon End).
Unlike JRPGs (Tales, FF, Persona, and etc) which feature shitloads of narrative, dialog, and character development.

It’s just a difference in the types of games, that’s all. So dungeon crawlers just wouldn’t be your cup of tea.

          • LustEnvy

I didn’t even think of that at the time. You’re right. I actively skip dungeon crawler games. The only one I remember enjoying was Azure Dreams back in the day.

            • Pyrofrost

It’s no problem, I usually steer clear of dungeon crawlers for the same reason (lack of strong narrative and character development). It’s easy to confuse a game like Nocturne though, when you’re not only roaming in 3rd person, but the battles are 3rd person as well. So I can see the reason behind the mix-up.

    • Dick Mountainjoy

      SMT was first…

  • new_tradition

    I still haven’t beaten this game ;_;

I got past this point, but my first time with Matador…You don’t forget that ಠ_ಠ

    http://i3.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/565/077/6c0.png

    • Samsara09

matador means killer…so yeah,a boss with that name must be tough as hell…

      • MrFinalgamer

Not any kind of killer, though. Based on his outfit, he’s a bull killah!

        • Samsara09

the worse part is that matador is among the first bosses in the game.a kind way of saying

“If you think this game is gonna be a piece of cake, think again, mongrel.”

    • $61526767

As a beginner, Matador is that challenging in Nocturne? He was very easy in SMT IV.

      • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Nocturne is more difficult than SMT IV, so yes.

        • $61526767

That’s more reasonable enough for me to play this. I must say, i find the normal battle theme very enjoyable.

      • new_tradition

Haven’t really played SMT4 yet so I dunno if he’s harder or easier, but I think the deal with Matador in SMT3 here is more that he’ll feel like he should’ve showed up later on in the game. I remember him being really fast and killing my party before I could take any action T.T

        • $61526767

I see. That sounds really bad. I’m somewhat excited to take on this games difficulty challenges. BRING IT, MATADOR!

          • seyEliveD

If you like a challenge play it on hard ;)

      • Pyrofrost

Matador is the hardest boss in Nocturne, imo.

        • $61526767

          :LOL
I look forward to having my ass defeated by matador in my first try. Luckily, i might get lucky and win. :p xD

Oh well, I should have this game by tomorrow. Little short on money at the moment.

          • Pyrofrost

Haha, well, in hearing all this from us, you will definitely know to be aptly prepared for the battle.

Though, it’s less about him being difficult as a boss; but more about him being difficult considering the position you’re in in-game, when you’re thrown into the fight.

        • 罪罰

          wat

          • Pyrofrost

Well, I beat every bit and piece of that game, and Matador was the only boss to give me any real trouble in comparison to any of the others.

  • Frederick Selga

Kazuma Kaneko’s art is still the best. Soejima is great too but there’s something about Kaneko’s design. You can see the melancholia on his human characters eyes which adds up to the dark theme of the game. Even their clothes always has that punk rocky feel.

  • Mega

    Shoji Meguro´s Best OST !!!! YEAH !!!!

  • Nitraion

I finished in true dark ending…
but i just remember tentarafoo is threat unlike in persona game….
Using dante in RPG game is great….

  • bloodiOS

Wonderful. Time to unseal my copy of the game.

  • gamelayer

It’s a shame that Persona has been so popular.
I prefer the other SMT games like this and Digital Devil Saga etc.
Persona has too much of a moe J-Pop vibe for my taste.
Atlus should take a page out of From Software’s book and go back to making
sombre, bleak games with rock-hard difficulty.

    • TheBlackRabbit

a shame?……ah i don’t think so. i enjoy both series, but dislike the gameplay of smt…..BOTH SHOULD BE ULTRA POPULAR

      • MrFinalgamer

If being ultra popular means that SMT3 will get the same treatment P4 is getting…FUCK THAT SHIT!

        • Kobracon

          Whaa?

          • MrFinalgamer

What I meant was that it would start getting a lot of unnecessary expanded universe BS…

            • Kobracon

But….but I love all that unnecessary expanded universe BS….

        • TheBlackRabbit

          XD

    • 罪罰

      moe
do you know what it means

      • gamelayer

According to Wikipedia nobody truly knows what it means.
Better said: Persona became too cute and mainstream.
I’m not a fan of the Big head/ Small bodied characters and dating sim part.

        • 罪罰

you have no fucking idea what youre talking about.

        • https://www.behance.net/cobaltcomet KOKAYI5

I gotta agree with Managed Corn on this one. Moe is, if I’m not mistaken (which I could be), an overly cute characters that fit into fetishes. EXAMPLE: Like a really cute, really nice schoolgirl who brings you lunch to show her love. Boys can be moe too. Like a shota little brother for example.

Persona and the SMT games are all more anime horror not moe dating sims. Though I will agree the school life and dating sim stuff in Persona is irksome at times. I prefer RPGs about traversing a vast world and solving people problems and deep character development. You get that with Persona but with too much school stuff for my tastes.

    • Kenny ケニー

From Software’s book? Atlus games have nothing to do with From Software, and i don’t want to playing Atlus’s game with too realistic feels like From Software’s games.

      • Elie Sanh Ducos

Demon Souls was published by Atlus

    • Dragard Kaos

Persona 1 and 2 have a more mainline feel to them.

  • Reki Honoo

So which version of this is on psn? The one with dante?

    • new_tradition

AFAIK, that’s the only version in English, so I think so, yeah

      • http://www.cubiz.tk/ Auragar

        It is.

  • https://www.behance.net/cobaltcomet KOKAYI5

Dante is in this one (DMC). But with Transistor so close should I bother buying this?
    http://www.rpgfan.com/pics/smtn/ss-023.jpg

    • MrFinalgamer

If you’ve already played Nocturne, then I would just get Transistor. But even if you haven’t…I would still go with Transistor, since it’s the most expensive, and jafter you beat Transistor, you can get the cheaper game later =P

      • https://www.behance.net/cobaltcomet KOKAYI5

I’ll try to get both. Been getting a lot of hours at work. And RPGs have been scarce for a while. This summer and fall seems like the holy grail of eastern RPGs for a change. Plus when is there ever gonna be a time I get to play as Dante in an RPG?

    • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

      Watcha doin?

      • https://www.behance.net/cobaltcomet KOKAYI5

Reading up on RPGs, hoping for more release dates from games I want. You?

        • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

What RPGs are you reading up on and what games do you want? I’m playing Demon Gaze

          • https://www.behance.net/cobaltcomet KOKAYI5

I gonna get Transistor then xillia 2 then batman arkham knight and maybe FAIRY fencer f. Finally I’ll end the year with tales of hearts.

            • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

              Nice choices

              • https://www.behance.net/cobaltcomet KOKAYI5

Thanks. Sometimes its hard to find nice jrpgs bro.

                • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

Didn’t use to be that way , for some reason they’re taking longer this time around

                  • https://www.behance.net/cobaltcomet KOKAYI5

Tales games come out like clockwork every 3 years. But other than those most RPG series I loved died out after PS2. And FFs take about 5-7 years now. I hope during PS4 all the RPG devs find a way to get game out faster.

                    • http://youtube.com/miyabigaming 武神水樹

That would be nice, FF takes longer just cause S-E are perfectionists it seems

                    • https://www.behance.net/cobaltcomet KOKAYI5

It seems that way often yeah. But hopefully it’ll pay off for them. I want FF15 so bad.

  • Kobracon

Aw man….I can feel the pain already. Perhaps this will be the time I finally finish the game.

    • 罪罰

      Muda muda muda

      • Kobracon

        Indeed

  • Lara Croft

One of my favorite SMT games. It will nice to beat again after all these years. Wish these were playable on the Vita.

  • Guest

Can someone tell me how good the resolution / upscaling will be on Nocturne ?
It would be the only PS2 Classic which i would buy.
