Falcom has detailed two more characters set to appear in its upcoming The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
We reported a bit on this earlier this week. More knowledgeable readers than yours truly, when it comes to Falcom’s RPG series, have been kind enough to inform me that the presence of these characters could constitute major spoilers for the ending of the first game, with the second being especially potent in that regard.
As such: Spoiler warning ahead for the rest of this article.
Find the details below.
Sara Valestin (Age: 25, Weapon: Orbment Gun & Blade)
CV: Megumi Toyoguchi
“Damn. I look away for just a little while and suddenly here you are, all grown up.”
Once the youngest A-tier Bracer who goes by the alias “Ecliar,” Sara is Class VII’s teacher. She projects an aura of beauty and refinement during quiet moments, but once she gets some alcohol into her system, she turns into a completely different person in her private life. Several years ago, under the pressure of the prime minister, she was forced to step down as a Bracer, but was able to become an instructor at the military academy thanks to the headmaster who had been looking for talented people such as her. Since joining the faculty, she’s watched over Rean and the other members of Class VII as they grow up. At the end of the last game, she was set to fight alongside the other faculty members of the academy as they set out to repel the aristocrats and their forces at the city of Trista after it was attacked, but she disappeared without a trace.
Crow Armburst (Age: 19, Weapon: Double Saber)
CV: Takahiro Sakurai
“These bad boys are what separate me from everyone else.”
Crow was a part of Thors Military Academy for two years, having been something of a mentor to Rean and the others while being on especially good terms with Student Council President Towa, as well as Angelica and George. A habitual class ditcher who was in danger of repeating the same school year, he was temporarily brought in to Class VII as a way to rack up school credits. While not particularly serious-minded as a person, Rean and the other members nevertheless accepted him as one of their own.
Underneath that veneer, however, was a man who had in actuality set up the terrorist organization “The Imperial Liberation Front,” eventually going on to assassinate the prime minister and hijack the military academy using the Knight Spirit Ordine, making himself out to be a formidable enemy for Rean and the others.
The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II is due out for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan on September 25. View a new set of screenshots at the gallery.
