“Mathematically exact” FPS VizionEck announced for PS4

Indie game studio VizionEck has announced VizionEck, a game whose name is identical with that of the studio, for PlayStation 4.

The game is “technically” a first-person shooter, but has “very little in common with the traditional FPS,” according to studio founder Michael Armbrust.

You play as a Ranger, who is “essentially just a cube,” in a “mathematically ‘exact'” environment built around a “strict set of rules.”

Your health is displayed as the brightness of the cube’s outlines. When it’s solid white, your health is high as can be. When it’s almost black, you’re about to die. Lesser health can work to your advantage, however, as it becomes harder for enemies to spot your outlines.
