    It’s the Final countdown!

  • fyi1191

My guess, Cosmo Nova possesion version soon?
Which involves killing Masaki in the process. And cue, Coffin of the End.
Midorikawa will be proud when he reaches that part.

    • Xaxal_Ravenguard

Doubt it. They’ll need him alive for eventual Asakim hijinx in certain games.

Namco Bandai is in love with the PS3. I think they’ve developed more games on the PS3 than any other system they’ve worked on before.

I just wish they’d showed the Vita this much love in the beginning.

    • Budgiecat

they did. then they backed off mad quick….

      …then trickled back..

    • 永次

They made more games for PS2.

… Do you know Bandai-Namco exists since 2006, right? Count the Namco and the Bandai games, and count those games with the Banpresto Label, or the D3 Publisher Label, or…
Please, don’t link me a shitty wikipedia page.

          • Unretributed

Except I wasn’t talking about Bandai or Namco or Banpresto or D3.

I said “Namco-Bandai” properly known as “Bandai-Namco”. And under their current structure, they’ve put out more PS3 games.

Try not to be such a dick next time.

Is obvious… Bandai-Namco exists since 2006, PS2 is from 2001… are you idiot or something like this?

And this is a game published under Banpresto Label, in that shitty list you posted there are just BANDAI-NAMCO games. All Super Robot Taisen are Bandai-Namco property but are published under different Labels… the same with games like Onechanbara or Dream Club which are Bandai-Namco games but published under D3 Publisher, a Bamco Publisher.

Where is my Vita version ?

…Why are we getting a new Masou Kishin? Pride of Justice sold horribly and left people wondering why the story was even continuing after Masou Kishin II anyway, but okay… I’ll buy it anyway, lol.

    • Xaxal_Ravenguard

It didn’t sell that badly. :P

Winkysoft had been sitting with the complete Masoukishin script for ages without being able to make a single game thanks to their disagreements and copyright issues with Namco. Now that those issues are gone they are just trying to finish the series.

      • TetsuyaHikari

Hrm… I guess, but it still doesn’t make sense as to why we even got a third Masou Kishin since the second one ended well enough. Still, I just hope this one isn’t as brutal as Pride of Justice was, especially with its DLC puzzle maps where everything had to be done a specific way in order to succeed.

Knowing Winkysoft though… The game will be brutal, lol.

    • Lynx

Because Revelation of Evil God ended on a cliffhanger?
Because the script for the end has been done for years?

And Masoukishin has never sold well. I doubt Namdai expects much from it, given how niche it is even among SRW fans.

Its more akin to a labor of love and giving OG more stuff to use.

      • TetsuyaHikari

Well “cliffhanger”. A lot of people, including myself, felt kind of bothered by Masou Kishin III since it seemed to come out of nowhere, honestly. Also, I’m well aware that Masou Kishin has never sold well.

All the more reason to make me go “wtf?” about this release, lol. I hate to say it, but it will probably be split into two parts as well since it’s the final chapter (see: Z series and SRW F). I’ll still buy it anyway, like I said before, but I’m still kind of scratching my head here wondering why they’re bothering.

It also doesn’t look like Masaki is the main protagonist any more since he seems to be MIA at the moment. Shu doesn’t have Granzon any more either, which sucks, so now he’s just been reduced to a ship captain. I’m not sure how much I’ll actually like this one, lol.

    • Budgiecat

      don’t forget my copy

  • Stealth

No Vita version is a bit telling.

  • Xaxal_Ravenguard

This fells very odd, considering how close to the release of Pride of Justice this announcement is (it’s only been about 5 months).

  • PrinceHeir

Vita version would be probably announced as the dates are closer or mayber a few months after it’s released.

  • TetsuyaHikari

Another scan shows that Rayblade and Amara/Garilnagant are confirmed. One interesting thing to note is that Amara/Garilnagant is on the player side. Also, two new characters have been confirmed as well.

Elisia Zepheel will be voiced by Yuka Saitou and Sakito Asagi will be voiced by Kaito Ishikawa.

      • MrTyrant

That girl looks cool. Remind me a little to Ouka.

    • Lynx

But if they really are including Rayblade stuff….

      Rayblade 2 never.

      Goddamnit Winky.

      • MrTyrant

        Amara playable in Masoukishin? lolwut?

        • TetsuyaHikari

Yeeeeeeah… I really have no idea how she’s even here, but knowing SRW, they will come up with some BS plot device to work her into the story. You know, maybe she was thrown through some kind of temporal distortion, time shift, etc. and now she has returned to extract revenge or something.

For all intents and purposes though… No, she shouldn’t be here, much less actually siding with us, lol.

          • MrTyrant

I like her ass, voice and mech. So I like her to be in my team it’s just it doesn’t make sense that she is alive much less in La geas abd for a Masoukishin game.

The actual killer of Hackubeins was Terada.

      • TetsuyaHikari

Well, it better be your Rayblade, cause that’s what it is, lol. Taken straight from the site:

        • Lynx

          That’s not my Rayblade.
聖霊機ライブレード is the text for the Winkysoft game.

          10/10, Banpre. 10/10.

          • TetsuyaHikari

Ummm… No? It says it right there, man. It even gives the pilot name for it XD

            I don’t even.

            • Lynx

It’s a different name. They’re playing around with it. The old one was SEIreiki Rayblade, this one’s KOUreiki Rayblade.

Plus main pilot (the original pilot was Touya) and the design are completely new and not at all similar to the original lead of the PSX/Dreamcast game by Winky.

              Which is my point.

              • TetsuyaHikari

Ah. I thought you were trying to tell me it wasn’t Rayblade, period. Still, we don’t know enough about it yet to determine if this one is actually better than the other Rayblade or not.

You may like it more, who knows :p

  • Budgiecat

    “Coffin of the End”

reminds me of “Yakuza of the End”

Is that just bad Engrish or rough translating?
