Next update coming at E3, Ubisoft teases.

The Division

The Division will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2015, Ubisoft announced.

The game was originally planned for 2014. According to the developers at Massive Entertainment, Ubisoft Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment, the teams “don’t want to compromise on quality.”

“We want to release the game when it’s ready,” the studios said in a blog post.

Our latest look at the game is promised for this year’s E3.

Quick, someone make a joke about how they need that extra time to downgrade it.

    • 罪罰

      they will.

      • Lightthrower

Yep what we saw at E3 last year isn’t even what they game looks like right now :-(

        • 罪罰

          it never will.

  • Wolf Star

Sooo should I still get watch dogs or cancel my preorder?? My hype level is “ok” now also I was looking forward to the devision but now, I don’t know anymore thanks to Ubisofts delays recently.

Watch Dogs will only drop in price, so if you aren’t really feeling it right now, you can always wait.

      • Wolf Star

Well by Black Friday the game will be about $30, I’ll buy Xillia 2 instead.

        • Skerj

Black Friday? That game will be $30 in about 2 months.

          • Wolf Star

That’s a good deal lol, I already canceled it anyway and put towards to Xillia 2 instead.

    • 罪罰

      It’s Ubisoft.

    • 武神水樹

      Cancel it

      well its IMO

      • Wolf Star

I was talking about watch dogs but I’m deffinetly getting Division it looks awesome.

I knew it! I knew it!
Now the question is… will it be downgraded?
I mean, if it is, then Ubi would be shooting themselves in the foot, ass and ear lobe after making trailers for the freakin’ engine. I suppose the game has more of a chance to stay this way then Watch Dogs, as it’s only being developed for 3 platforms as opposed to 6. Not to mention, next gen only!

Now the question is… will it be downgraded?
do you even have to ask.

  • Anime10121

Of course it is! A game this big with nearly nothing but a single screenshot shown since last E3, who in their right mind DIDNT think it would be delayed? Oh wells, not my speed anyway online only…I cant deal. Maybe I’ll be able to play it if my nephew has an Xbone by then… I just cant do online ONLY titles :/

  • abysswalker

It was expected. Just this January there was a rumor from a source at Massive stating that development hadn’t even started. I think the initial release window was announced just to hype new gen consoles and boost sales.

    classic ubisoft

    • Zackasaur

This is one of the reasons I favour Ubisoft over most publishers. c:

Its a fine line though. Other company say they want release it when its ready and fan flare up anyway. I think the same happened with a zelda link game. My point is getting a game time tobe fully worked on is good, but be careful not to become a perfectionist.

  • new_tradition

Ahhhh, I keep confusing this with Watchdogs >.<

  • CeroSuerte

I became a junkie thanks to these tactics
Of course it does, its good looking game, they have to milk it..
First you get a taste, you get hooked, then some bogus release date, you start scratching then “ow some nonsense about caring about players” so we have to wait for a perfect product..
Meantime i keep checkin updates “Is it out??” “IS IT!?”

  • 武神水樹

Not a big deal, plenty of games to play

  • CosmicNova

I for one wasn’t expecting this game to release this this year.

    • Elvick

I mean, we haven’t really seen much of it since it’s reveal (or anything? not sure)

And Ubisoft has a lot of games coming this year already.

What’s this about this game being an rpg? I’m interested, though I like fantasy and sci-fi more. What ways is it an rpg? Skill trees, levels, gadgets and armor u upgrade with use?
