Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appetit also listed.

Harvest Moon: Tsunagaru Shin Tenchi

Wholesale distributor Video Products Distributors is listing a Harvest Moon: The Lost Vall due out for 3DS in North America on October 7.

A Harvest Moon of that name has not been announced, but this is likely the U.S. localization of Harvest Moon: Tsunagaru Shin Tenchi (Connecting the New World).

Unfortunately, access to VPD’s listings are restricted to registered members of the website. For now, GoNintendo has a screen cap, if you want to check it out.

Also worth noting, the same website lists Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as an August 26 release. And it has Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appetit, whose localization is still unannounced, listed for October 14.

Thanks, NeoGAF.

Perfect. My thirst for new Harvest Moon is reaching its limits.

  • Takane Shijou

Really have been looking forward to this one, especially after the positive news and bits out of Japan about it. Hope we hear more about a release in the near future.

  • Jesse

    What does “Vall” mean?

    • Takane Shijou

Think it’s just the limit on characters for the item title for it.

Man, and here I was googling that word and everything.

Would be nice if Vita got a Harvest moon for once, seems like there have been a ton for the DS and 3DS

    • Marco Bochatay

It’s because they mainly sell on Nintendo hardware. There was one HM on PSP but it flopped.

      • PrinceHeir

Wasn’t that Rune Factory spin off series?

      • http://lukalovesgames.blogspot.de/ Alkaid

Actually there were two PSP games, one was Innocent Life (a spin off) and the other was Hero of Leaf Valley, a PS2 port with some additions. Sadly they flopped because there was a lack of advertisement. Especially in Europe (we’re crazy for Harvest Moon and Rune) Hero of Leaf Valley just one day popped into the PS Store. In Germany it was even worse since they only sold it with Innocent Life in a package.

Most Vita owners just don’t bother to look through that unorganized mess of a store. Since the new design it got even worse. *sigh* It’s a shame…

    • PrinceHeir

I agree. i mean 3DS already has it’s tons of simulators like Animal Crossing which is it’s own flagship title.

I guess they’ll just keep putting Rune Factory series on PS instead.

Rune Factory sold its highest amount ever on 3DS with RF 4. Not likely put on Vita. In fact that team is making an exclusive srpg for 3DS.

        • http://lukalovesgames.blogspot.de/ Alkaid

Which is a shame, on the Vita I could play it as well. Europe never got a Rune 4 release, I’d have given hell for that title and yet it was cancelled for unknown reasons.

Big N really needs to get rid of that region lock.

          • Elvick

Region lock definitely needs to go.

Guys lets not do this on every not-Vita game thread.

Not to say that you can’t ask for a new Harvest Moon on Vita. Or that this is *necessarily* port begging. A new Harvest Moon on Vita would be great (I like HD, too). But this thread is about an upcoming Harvest Moon game for 3DS. Take it to the Open Forum.

But the fact is, lots of 3DS games are coming out that people apparently want. So I’d suggest they get a 3DS and play them. I have one and it’s great.

This constant port begging all the time is annoying and usually results in comment wars. And it’s actually against our guidelines, so please adhere to them. They’re linked right above the comments.

I’d also like to address some comments:

@Stealth20k – “This is an exclusive original game. Vita will not get many of those. Sorry.” – Don’t post comments like these. They’re biased and untrue. There’s a HANDFUL [edit: meaning plenty] of original games coming out for PS Vita from first-party and third-party alike.

As pointed out, you also post a ton of other comments like these that are clearly biased. “Vita will never see big games like this, no offense to Vita.” Don’t post this type of stuff.

@MyBodyIsReady – “Oh grow up” – This kind of stuff starts wars. Please refrain from posting them. If you have an issue with someone, hit the little drop down above a comment to report it.

Not many=handful to me but whatevs :), your right, I just felt like getting under there skin It was deliberate. Won’t happen again. Thanks for cleaning up the port begging.

      • MyBodyIsReady

Awww man I just got told off, now I feel like a tit. Anyway, my bad, I’ll try to keep on topic in future

      • Franggio Hogland

Hey I have a 3DS. Doesn’t help much in Europe.

      • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

You know I agree 100%. I can’t count how many times I’ve made a post like this. Sadly, they just keep coming. Sure, part of it is the stupid region lock. Even if they lifted it, I’m sure it wouldn’t put an end to some of these comments.

The sad part is, I’m not sure people will ever stop. You would think me removing some of the comments below would be a big enough hint… to just move on and drop it.

I certainly hope everyone in this article at the very least, reads and remembers your comment in future articles. That would be greatly appreciated.

We should start to see more 3DS announcements as we approach E3 and what games we will have for the rest of th eyear.

  • Luna Kazemaru

alright guys no need to fight over spilled milk

  • Gyro Zeppeli

People still play the main series? I haven’t heard anything spectacular about the main games since the GBA titles really, it seems like everyone just stopped caring about it after Rune Factory came out.

    • klkAlexar

HM still sells better than RF.

      • Gyro Zeppeli

        Well god damn, that’s unexpected.

    • EgoMouse

HM: A New Beginning was pretty well received. I still like Harvest Moon more than Rune Factory. Rune Factory focuses more on the action RPG than the farming, which is all I need in a Harvest Moon game.

    • Money?Muney??All my luveee!!!

HM A new beginning is still one of my favorite series here.^_^ The only prob it had is with pacing. The first year is barren as we are still inviting many people to come to stay to our village.

Entering the second year, it become great.^_^

  • https://twitter.com/Stealth___ Stealth

Harvest Moon has a pretty big following, I have not played one in some time so it will be fun

  • Willgaea

Cool my gf really loves these games.

  • Hinataharem

I had no idea there was a 5th Cooking Mama. And also pleased at the quick localization of Harvest Moon. And August Smash
