Niconico live stream support will come to PlayStation 4 via a firmware update on April 30 in Japan, Sony announced.
Though not mentioned by number specifically, it sounds like this could be the release date for the 1.7 firmware announced at GDC last month.
Users will be able to play test live streaming at the Niconico Super Conference 3 from April 26 and 27.
