Mojang will release a retail version of Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition on May 16 in North America and May 14 in Europe, the studio announced.
The retail version comes with everything up to update 14, including Emeralds, Ender Chests, potatoes, and more.
In related news, Mojang said it’s still working on bringing the game to PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and presumably Xbox One (the news comes via a PlayStation Blog post), and apologized for the delay. In Europe, at least, it appears the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita versions will also come to retail.
