Are MINDs responsible for the world's supernatural occurrences?

About time they did some more marketing lol.

I keep forgetting who is publishing it because they haven’t talked about it in so long. xD

      Ok?

where is the english dub you promised?

      • TheExile285

        What are you talking about?

It’s being dubbed. It’s coming this year. Next month.

oh really? aksys is giving this game a dub?
i thought it was just a very low budget game with low sales expectations

Well, I know for sure it’ll be translated text. But the game is said to be fully voiced. I think they should dubb this. But if they don’t… might turn out like Chaos Rings and one of those games where you never know what they’re saying in battle (no subtitles in battle).

I want this game because it looks like a detective story with magic and martial arts. And though it’s kinda like SMT Persona games, it’s not as hypersexual as those (penis demons? demons with B and J on their breasts? too far…). But the only thing making my not wanna get this is the first person point of view dungeon crawling. That mean 70% of the time I won’t be able to see the characters. It’s not my style. I prefer 3rd person pov in all the games I play (action RPGs and RPGs).

I usually feel exactly as you do but eh, the story and such appeals to me enough to go out of my comfort zone and give this and some other Dungeon RPGs a go. End of the day, it’s still RPG combat you’re getting right =3?

True. Maybe I should still play it. The lead seems badass. Scythes are just cool.

That’s the spirit! I love scythes as well. I really hope this gets a sequel that improves on things, preferably with a higher budget as the animations need some improvements but I appreciate them putting them in at least (you get to see your characters when they attack and such, removing some of the 1st person).

Yeah the battle part seems fine. I wonder if when I buy new weapons will I see them in battle? If I have a fire sword (for example) I would hope it wouldn’t only show a default sword.

I’m glad you brought that up, I’m curious as well. Gosh I hope so…but the budget doesn’t inspire.

It’ll likely a cult hit and maybe get one sequel. If so, that one will likely have the better stuff like graphics and for 3rd person pov.

Here’s hoping, either way, nothing wrong with being “inspired” by Persona, nothing at all.

I used to think like you, then I played Etrian Odissey and saw the pros of this type of view. It really creates the feel of anticipation when you’re rounding for the first time a corner. Imagine: you’re almost dying after 45min of progress without saving the game and don’t have the labyrinth’s map (needs to draw one yourself). You realize that you can’t fight even the weakest of the enemies. So, what could possibly lie ahead? A trap? The floor’s boss? The portal to salvation? (suspense drum beats…..)

I see what you’re saying, but someone like me would be exciting the first couple of times like that. But if I kept loosing I’d just get frustrated that I was loosing my progress. I’ll try to get this or at least see if there’s a demo. I enjoyed the demo of Conception 2 (mostly the battles and character progression) but I still found I didn’t want to play the dating sim parts of the game. i feel like the dungeons would be the low side of this game the same way the sim part was for C2.
