Latest update on Falcom RPG sequel.

The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II

Last week’s The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II update introduced main characters Rean, Alisa, Eliot, and Laura, as well as the game’s prologue. This week’s introduces Tovar and Claire, and a village that specializes in hot springs.

Find the new information below.

Tovar Randonneur (27 years-old, Weapon: Orbment Device and Stun Gun)
CV: Tomokazu Sugita

“That’s a little piece of advice my senpai once gave me.”

Tovar spends his days as a fighter working for the Bracer Guild, a private civilian support group for the empire spread throughout the entire continent dedicated to things like conflict resolution and investigations. Given that his options are limited for actually working as a fighter within the empire, he teams up with a group of people including Sara, an old co-worker, who work with him to reform the guild as they keep going about their day job. While he knows his way around a weapon, what he’s really known for are his custom orbment techniques, which allow him to quickly shoot off his Arts. Having already known Rean and company from the previous game, he encounters her again, having since been left all alone for reasons unknown, and opts to work with her as well.

Claire Rieveldt (24 years-old, Weapon: Military Revolver)
CV: Miyu Matsuki

“I’m taking it upon myself to end this civil war myself one way or another.”

She operates as a captain in the empire’s army and is highly renowned for being the best they have. Her appearance coupled with her ability to make quick decisions on how to order imperial troops stationed throughout the rail lines nationwide has earned her the nickname the “Ice Maiden.” She was under the direct supervision of Prime Minister Osbourne, but failed to prevent his assassination at the hand of terrorists at the end of the last game. She also Rean and the others in the previous game, having swapped information with them, and ends up helping her out again as she engages in a covert mission in which she dresses up as a civilian.

Hot Springs Village of Ymir

A hot springs village governed by the family of Baron Schwarzer in the northern mountains of the Erebonia Empire. It is said the gushing springs are effective against all kinds of sicknesses. In the winter, the village is hit with heavy snowfall. The emperor has an imperial lodge here, and cable cars go to and from the station at the village’s foot. In this game, we’ll learn the whole story behind Rean’s hometown.

I want to play the first one I just need a bit of feedback on it, how is it? Is it good overall?????

    • gangrelion

It depends…How much do you like love-comedy? Do you enjoy stuff like tsunderes, guys being punched for no reason and school life? This games has LOTS of it! The basic plot is pretty weak. But the final chapter kind of makes up for everything, since it’s very awesome, full of interesting twists. I recommend to look for a summary about the first game on the internet and wait to start with this new one.

You forgot that heavenly piece of OST. It’s actually the very best the BGM industry has to offer as of this and previous generations.

JDK just beat the hell out of what Squaresoft offered back then.

Both as usual. Crossplay helps when you have a job where you travel around alot…

  • JeremyTMH

I see Celine Human Form in the scans lol…

    • Endless History

Careful with assumptions. Nothing is said for what that is, and Falcom often chooses screenshots to make you jump to conclusions. It could be Celine, but it may also be someone else entirely.

However, still can’t think of any other black, cat eared and tailed loli female. >.>

Besides, Falcom always loves to tease their fans on such stuff, and they really know how to tease.

I particularly like the interview where Kondo-san mentioned of the Elise finding Valimar production shots, and that tease became such a huge issue among fans that now they really ARE considering making her playable.

        • Endless History

If it’s not Celine, it’s a new character. Kondo’s interview from the Dengeki and Famitsu interviews last week implied that we’ll see new characters in the Ouroboros and stuff this time around.

Ao no Kiseki also introduced a few newcomers that weren’t in Zero as well.

Then another thing is it could be accessories. I can think of a Kiseki character who is a loli with cat ears, and they’re because she’s wearing a sensor headband shaped like cat ears.

I only say this because when Falcom revealed Zero, they teased a picture to make fans wig out- and it turned out the image was nothing what the fans thought it would be. I’m 100% sure that using the image was completely intentional to get the reaction they got. They’re are an amazingly troll’ish company, so sometimes you have to take things with a grain of salt.

(It’ll be cool if we see Celine in a human form, though!)

          • JeremyTMH

Well~ speculating and teasing makes the wait less painful in the end. Kindda.

  • shit

how they look so generic but they’re still so hot~
