New song to be published in composer's 25th anniversary album.

“Memoria!,” Yoko Shimomura’s March 26-due 25th anniversary album, will include “Omnis Lacrima” from Final Fantasy XV as a bonus track, the compilation’s official website reveals.

The track will be rearranged by Kaoru Wada, who previously worked on Kingdom Hearts orchestral and piano rearrangements.

Thanks, Aibo.

It could be an epic piece. Yoko Shimomura is a talented composer.

I wanna say it’s a new song, but if “Somnus” was in Drammatica, a song that we already heard in the 2006 trailer before the that soundtrack came out, this “Omnis Lacrima” is probably one of the other two songs from either the 2011 trailer of the 2013 E3 trailer…

Which is fantastic because those songs only played during the trailers and there’s been no clean versions as far as I know. Been wanting to hear a clean 2011 version especially since hearing it.

Anyways, I love Shimomura’s work and I’m stoked as hell she’s gonna do music for a Final Fantasy game ♥

Heh, I remember when Drammatica hit and Somnus was announced to be on the album, how I was expecting a Vs blowout and a release time frame to be coming soon, ahh the naivety of youth (though I was like 20 at the time :P)!

Either way, hyped for more 15 songs, as Yoko is my favorite composer, love everything the woman touches, even if it just turns out being a “clean” version of a song we already heard in one of the “newer” trailers :D

Dude…I was 20 too when I heard about that!

O_O it’s been a long time in the making.

      Please come out soon lol
