The next and final Rocksteady Studios-developed entry in the Batman Arkham series is Batman: Arkham Knight, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2014, this month’s Game Informer reveals.
Arkham Knight follows the events of Arkham City. The Batmobile will be a “core element” of gameplay, and a new area of Gotham City “far larger” than Arkham City has “much wider streets” to accommodate the new mechanic. Here, Batman will chase down villains like Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn.
Pre-orders include four challenge maps allowing you to play as Harley Quinn.
As far as Warner Bros. announced, the game is due out in 2014. However, a pre-order image from GameStop suggests an October 14 North American release.
