Wall Street Journal: Star Wars and Marvel Infinity incoming

'Hundreds' of layoffs planned, despite Disney Infinity successs.

Disney Interactive are readying Star Wars and Marvel versions of its Infinity franchise that began with Disney Infinity, according to Wall Street Journal source.

Additionally, people “close to the company” have told the outlet that Disney Interactive, which currently employs 3,000, is preparing to lay off several hundred people despite a strong launch for Disney Infinity. They’re expected to begin after the company releases its quarterly financial results on Wednesday.
