The fanboy drama that will surround this game’s release is sure to be more entertaining than the actual product.

    • DesmaX

The tears of CoD fanatics are going to be delicious

      • LustEnvy

I enjoy CoD from time to time and just because a different game is released doesn’t mean I will enjoy CoD less.

I’d get Titanfall too, but I don’t have a XB1, and even though my gaming laptop is well equipped to handle Titanfall, I play with a controller and don’t want to get demolished by the keyboard and mouse users. :(

  • AdamBoy64

Good on them. Hope it’s a big success.

    • GRY

I want to hope it’s a flop, but it’s a dudebro shooter made by the guys who made CoD, so unfortunately it will see a huge success.

      • DesmaX

The series was fine until they left Activision. They are talented developers

        • Six

          Buh buh buh…THE DUDEBROS! D:

        • 罪罰

and decided to milk it, we are okay with a call of duty each 3 years.

      • Six

This post is bad and you should feel bad.

        • GRY

Wishing for less of the same thing that damaged the diversity in console gaming library isn’t bad at all.

          • Six

I love people who use that as an excuse. There is more diversity in gaming today than there has ever been.

Why, just earlier today I played a game about an octopus pretending to be a human.

            • GRY

If it’s not AAA, it’s some cheap non-substantial indie stuff.

Man, I remember when video games have middle ground.

              • Six

You really think games like Titanfall going away will suddenly bring creativity back to the AAA gaming space, or bring back mid-tier titles?

Also, writing off indie games is the absolutely stupidest thing anyone who claims to enjoy video games could possibly do.

                • GRY

                  Yes.

Try to remember console gaming library before 7th gen. Pure bliss.

                  • Six

I can’t seem to wrap my head around the kind of logic you are working with.

I hate to break it to you, but EA and Activision going away won’t make companies like Square Enix and Capcom any less inept than they are today.

      • Sevyne

I’m not really a fan of the fps genre at all and I despise CoD, but Respawn are actually pretty talented at what they do for the most part. The CoD franchise becoming the same old recycled crap every year was not on Respawn, but the hollow shell that became of Infinity Ward and Treyarch.

That said; I’m not really too interested in Titanfall (go figure. Not interested in a fps game), but it seems fine for what it is. I could be wrong of course and it could be a total dud, but anything can turn out to be a stinker. Every game is kind of a gamble.

        This is a terrible comment.

      • 罪罰

Being dudebro isn’t enough these days.

      • McPoo

I hope it does well, it looks pretty fun.

Please. Stop posting stuff like this. It doesn’t generate the type of discussion we are looking for here.

If you really want to go into detail about the current state of gaming, the FPS genre, etc.

Feel free to post about it in the open forum – Just remember to keep the discussion civil.

The responses here are fairly mild, this stuff usually turns into flame wars, and seems to be typically started by trolls.

With that said, I think you should fully understand why I made this post. Thanks for understanding.

          lol its only the truth

  • Elvick

I bet the developers are relieved/excited.

  • bloodiOS

Thus marks the fall of the PlayStation 4.

  • MrFinalgamer

now starts work on Titanfall DLC & Titanfall 2 for PS4 XBone, and PC

    • Pekola

This wouldn’t surprise me at all. In fact, they probably have something in the works already knowing EA’s release practices.

      • MrFinalgamer

i would be extremely surprised if we don’t see a couple of Titans being DLC (and of course map packs!)

  • Ksatmata

    what does gold mean?

    • bloodiOS

      Please read:

    • AdamBoy64

It’s when a game has finished development, and is ready to be manufactured.

Don’t worry, I hadn’t heard of the term before I came to this site either.

      • Ksatmata

        well, thanks both of you

  • SolarisSpell

Maybe I’m biased or I don’t know the whole story, but I would like that Respawn Entertaiment can be successful.
I know I’m not interested in this game and will probably never play it, but I wonder if not releasing a PS4 version is profitable enough for them or if it benefits Microsoft the most.

    • Solomon_Kano

Between X1, PC, and 360 they should be fine without a PS4 version. It definitely benefits MS most, by getting to claim a high profile “exclusive” but it’s not exactly a scenario that hurts Respawn either, since MS would have likely paid to keep that exclusively. Though one would expect that money went to EA, given Respawn’s reaction to MS’ “first Titanfall exclusive foreverrrrrr.”

    • $18114340

It benefits EA the most. They get a new IP, a scapegoat if it fails, an exclusivity deal with Microsoft, and they spend less on QA if they only have to deal with fewer consoles.

Dude at the back, look like Stone Cold
