The Last of Us single-player expansion ‘Left Behind’ will launch on PlayStation Network for $14.99 tomorrow, and Sony today released the add-on’s launch trailer.
Left Behind follows Ellie and her friend Riley, and continues the themes of survival, loyalty, and love explored in the main game.
“We wanted to dig deeper into the events that transformed Ellie into the fighter players were introduced to on her fateful meeting with Joel,” Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann said on the PlayStation Blog. “What does it mean for two teenagers to survive in a world that offers little hope? How far will you go to save yourself? How far will you go to save the ones you love?”
The five gigabyte update will go live at 1 a.m. EST / 6 a.m. GMT worldwide.
