Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson officially announced

Marvelous AQL officially announced Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson during its “Senran Kagura Busty Breasts Hyper Presentation” live stream.

The game, which leaked yesterday via Famitsu, is due out on August 7 in Japan for 6,480 yen. A “Nyuu Nyuu DX Pack” will include a special box, limited package design, five figure Toy Works Niitengo set of the Homura Crimson Squad, a drama CD, and an arranged soundtrack. First-print copies include a four-CD soundtrack compilation of the background music from each Senran Kagura title.

As previously detailed, development of Senran Kagura 2 is being handled by Tamsoft. The game is set in Kyoto, and two characters can partner up in the new “Pair Battle” system and make use of “Joint Secret Ninja Arts” attacks. Co-op play is supported, as is full stereoscopic play.

Characters from the Hanzo Academy and Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy are confirmed to appear. Two new characters include Kagura (voiced by Yuki Matsuoka) and Naraku (voiced by Yuuko Kaida). Murasame will also be playable, but you need save data from the previous game. Otherwise you’ll have to pay for him as downloadable content later.
