Four Japanese soccer athletes are set to make an appearance in Yakuza: Ishin: active J-League players Junichi Inamoto and Tomoaki Makino, Japan futsal representative Shota Hoshi, and soccer commentator and talent Nobuhiro Takeda.
The four characters appear in a sub-story where they play Kyoto’s fastest messenger group, the “Black Panther Express Messenger Squad.” With pride in their leg strength, the Black Panther team challenges Ryoma Sakamoto.
Each athlete character has a nickname. Inamoto is the control tower, Makino is the prima donna, Hoshi is the raid commander, and Takeda is the lady-killer.
