I am not into FPS whatsoever (with minor exceptions)……but Destiny does sounds and looks enticing.

    • Budgiecat

One Man’s Sky looks more interesting to me. As well as ‘hopefully’, Alien: Isolation…

      • HighBrowDrifter

One Man’s Sky does look sexy and Alien: Isolation also looks miiighty fiine!

I like the fact that Alien: Isolation seems more of an homage to the original Alien movies as opposed to some cheap knock off.

      • Sevyne

It’s No Man’s Sky. Dat sky belongs to no man!

        • Solomon_Kano

Mhm. It’s an independent sky that don’t need no man.

      • gekitsu

i so much hope you are right about alien: isolation.

  • LunarHaven

    Too bad it’s online only.

that said, when you look at this game from a certain angle, its not so big a loss:

in a way, all weve seen so far is the way of least resistance & competence from a game-making point of view (absolutely generic design and art direction, just multiplayer that has to not fall apart until the following years multiplayer shooter installations come out), its just dressed up really nicely.

I NEED this game so bad….I need my halo fix,and Halo 4 cant itch it..

  • Vayne

Games in first person are not captivates for me, only focus on follow forward, finding an enemy and shoot him and move on.

    • McPoo

      What about Portal?

      • Vayne

Worse yet, not having enemies and stay only in that repetitive corridor.

        • TrueDefault

What’s about games where you can explore, like Skyrim or Fallout?

          • Vayne

These two are better than Destiny, but lower than to jrpg.

            • Budgiecat

Plus you can play em in third person

I dont like the disconnect from the main character feeling I get with FPS. Just feels like a floating camera

I have a feeling Six is one of the ones who downvoted me here lol

Anyways, first person is boring and lacks charm, as you can see in these third person bullshots they keep putting up. The game is in first person yet the screenshots are in third person lol

        • Six

          Seriously? It’s a puzzle game.

    • SuperLuigi

Okay I can do this too. Jrpgs you run around listen to cutscenes for 30 minutes, run into enemies most of the time without seeing them, and you keep doing it and move on. (This is sarcasm I love fps and jrpgs)

          I crossed the streams!

This game is going to face-fuck everything else coming out this year. I look forward to it selling gangbusters to the cries of bitter forum haters.

    • SegaSaturnSNK

Fuck yeah! Been looking forward to this greatly.

      But have you seen Titanfall?

      • Six

Titanfall will be a fart in the wind compared to Destiny.

        • bloodiOS

From all the hypes and praises I’ve been hearing around, from enthusiasts and gaming sites alike, I’m under the impression that it’ll make billions within 24 hours. I can’t say I’ve heard the same for Destiny

          • Six

I think a lot of the hype around Titanfall comes from Xbox loyalists trumpeting it every chance they get.

As for Destiny, it’s only a matter of time before Activision shoves it down everyone’s throats with reminders that it’s “From the creators of Halo and the company that brought you Call of Duty.”

          • mirumu

Titanfall may receive more critical acclaim, but I’d be surprised if it sells even half as well as Destiny simply because it’s limited to a single console that won’t have even had a years worth of sales by then.

            • Six

Titanfall is coming out on three platforms. Xbone, 360 and PC.

But Destiny is indeed more with both Playstation and both Xbox consoles.

              • mirumu

Oh right, I keep forgetting the other versions of Titanfall.

                • Six

Just like Microsoft wants you to! :P

                  • mirumu

Hehe, it totally feels that way.

  • Elvick

Does this have any offline component at all?

edit; nevermind, see someone saying it’s online only further down. *sigh*

I like to practice in a campaign offline before going online. Without that, it just feels like you can never jump in later.

  • 武神水樹

Only thing disappointing so far is the beta dates, only 1 month

  • Lelouch Vi Britannia

I don’t doubt this games potential, but i’m going to sit this one out.

  • Aldridge517

I can’t say anything for gameplay, but at the very least this game has some sexy screenshots.
