Prediction: Everything goes to The Last of Us.

    Not much competition

    • JonathanisPrimus

#1 this is a Japanese awards show
#2 it usually focuses on sales

      • Budgiecat

oh no wonder Resident Evil 6 won then…

        • TetsuyaHikari

Sal is silly anyway. Since it’s a Japanese event, he should be using the Japanese titles. Resident Evil 6 didn’t win anything since that’s the Western title. Biohazard 6 won :3

One Piece: Kaizoku Musou as well :p

Resident Evil 6 won something that wasn’t a “most disappointing game ever” award?

  • Willgaea

Guys, think those awesome European people are gonna do some live translation? No word on it so I’d say it’s very unlikely, but I can still hope

  • TetsuyaHikari

I’ll predict JoJo might get a gold award :p

    • Gariya

Absolutely, even Kawano honorably mentioned JoJo ASB as a top-seller at SCEJ 9/9 Conference.

  • Gariya

This awards show is for sales achievements, by the way. And this show is very formal, so don’t expect any game announcements because there will be none.

Wait for Spike’s VGX for actual awards with categories and game announcements.

  • SuperLuigi

I know this is sales but last year’s games that won are not the best of last year at all. I know… opinions

  • new_tradition

I guess God Eater 2 will take it for the Vita sales?

    • TetsuyaHikari

Considering its competition this year, I’d say it’s a safe bet that it will get gold, yeah.

    • 武神水樹

Which is saying a lot since it only released a month ago

      • TetsuyaHikari

Well, considering companies already determine what goes ‘gold’ even before it hits the shelves, I don’t see the difference here. It wouldn’t be the first time something recently released got to be the “game of the year”.

Besides, it also helps that it released in November, so late into the year. They already have all the competition pretty much out of the way. I can’t really think of many Vita games that sold that well this year anyway, honestly.

        • 武神水樹

          Yea that’s true

  • Elvick

    What a strange ‘award’.

Then again, it’s no different than music going ‘gold’ and ‘platinum’ for the sole reason of selling a lot.
