Deadfall Adventures and Necrovision developer The Farm 51 announced Get Even, a new first-person shooter for next-generation consoles and PC, during a press conference in Warsaw, Poland today.
The game uses “3D scans of real locations and people,” developed in collaboration with research institutes and independent specialists, to produce its graphics.
Get Even plans to remove the barrier between single and multiplayer by linking them together. Players can join other players’ single-player games “at any moment” and take on enemy roles regularly controlled by AI.
Players can experience the events of the single-player campaign from the perspective of two opposing protagonists. The story will be told through “elements of gameplay, exploration, and interacting with the environment,” rather than through “the standard usage” of dialogue and cutscenes. Gameplay will differ based on which side of the story is chosen.
Get Even is planned for release in 2015. View the first screenshots at the gallery.
Thanks, NeoGAF.
