"I personally would like to see a sequel," Kazushige Nojima says,

Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster

Final Fantasy X and X-2 scenario writer Kazushige Nojima wants to see another sequel to the Final Fantasy X series, he said in the “Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster Ultimania” book.

“If demand [for a sequel] is delivered, there could be new developments,” Nojima said.

“I, personally, would like to see a sequel such as Final Fantasy X-3,” he added.

Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster, which remasters Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 in high-definition, is now available for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan, and will launch in North America and Europe on March 18 and 21.

Thanks, FF-Reunion.

  • Nhiroz

Why! X-2 was terrible compared to X….. I don’t want to see yet another unnecessary game :'(

    • Sevyne

Maybe in story, but the battle system in X-2 was stupid fun. By far one of the best battle systems in the series.

      • bloodiOS

Yeah, that’s the only concern I have if they ever make FFX-3. Gameplay should be fine, but what about the story? What’s even left to work with?

        • Sevyne

Not much at all really. I’m not sure I’d even want a X-3 myself.

  • Xaltmas

    .

  • http://twitter.com/M_Demolish Demolish

ow like XIII series !! >.>

but i hope is true with new story and new characters.

  • http://www.yazuka.net/ Yazuka

I’d like to see a Final Fantasy X-0. With Braska, Auron and Jecht.

    • http://lukalovesgames.blogspot.de/ Alkaid

Even I can understand that, following those three around would be perfect.

    • César H. Sandoval

Yes, This! A prequel with those would be amazing, and a sweet break from Yuna and Tidus.

    • ayb_91

Omg. So it wasn’t just me !? X-0 would be great SE !!

    • Samsara09

Well,we already saw much from Yevon’s treachery….but maybe the prequel could reveal even more…and also, chibi Rikku,Tidus,Yuna,Wakka,Lulu…and most likely, chibi Kimahri,

    • PrinceHeir

      that would be perfect please!!

seriously seeing Jecht, Auron, Braska travel all over spira and living the sphere records all over the world and seeing how they end up would be amazing!!

lots of things they can do in FFX-0!! they can even expand the battle between Al Bheds and everyone!

      please FFX-0 please!!

  • icecoffemix

Bwahaha. Sure, another *-2,3,4,5,6… of mainline FF will save them.

  • Alkhan

I’d prefer a sequel to FF 9, but I’d play FF X-3 too.

AS LONG AS THERE IS A VITA VERSION!!

    • Anime10121

Unless they got Ito back to direct and Minaba back doing character designs (I’d almost say they also needed Uematsu back to compose, but I’d settle for the other two), I dont want them to touch IX, which imo is still the best FF to date!

    • shogunknight

Id actually like a HD remake of FF9 if possible

      • Anime10121

If VII cant get one, theres no way in hell the black sheep of the PSone era (sales wise) will get a remake :(

      • ayb_91

        In your afterlife bro. :(

  • nyobzoo

    Sure, I’d buy it

  • dez112

    I wouldn’t mind seeing Final Fantasy X-3.

  • adhesive

I wouldn’t mind a spiritual successor, but it looks like everything is wrapped up in the FFX universe, so it’d be unnecessary at best.

  • Azuardo

    Wouldn’t say no.

  • meiam

What is going on at SE? Are they deaf and blind? One of the big things FF had going for it is that it was a way to release new IP while still cashing in on the brand-name of the series. Now there doing the exact opposite of that. Out of five direct sequel, not even one is widely considered good.

    • Anime10121

In your opinion (ps, your opinion is not a fact)…

I happened to enjoy both X-2 and XIII-2 (the former for its “different” music and amazing battle system, while the latter I actually thought was FAR better than the first game), and consider them both quite good.

      • Samsara09

yeah! The dresspheres offered variety of kickass styles and some epic customization, plus some changes they did in the flow of battle…and yeah, they applied much feedback from XIII to XIII-2,so yeah,it isn’t surprising some consider it superior to the original.

    • EX+

It’s hard to release that many completely new FFs anymore. This isn’t like the PS1 era when games were extremely cheaper to make.
They have to write a new mythos, characters, create a new battle system (in some way, shape or form), design a new world, stuff like that.

      • Samsara09

took the words from my mouth.

      • meiam

I don’t see how any of this cost more today than it did in the PS1 era… The only things that’s more expansive is graphics and marketing, which they can easily spend less on.

        • EX+

I’m not a developer, but I can imagine it all adds up to quite a lot, even with less marketing.

  • ayb_91

No. Prequel is much appreciated !

    • http://andaryu3.wordpress.com/ Phantom Andaryu

Prequel starring Braska, Jecht and Auron would be awesome.

      • Lelouch Vi Britannia

        Thank you, my point exactly.

      • ayb_91

        Exactly bro. Exactly.

    • Audie Bakerson

Yeah, plenty of FFs could work with prequels, but none of them are really all that suited for a direct sequel (MAYBE Tactics after Ramza was confirmed not dead and in another country, but none of the mainline games)

    • Samsara09

I too appreciated it.But when I remembered the trek that Braska did starting from Bevelle…

crossing the macalania woods, then that never ending macalania lake…then the lake again…then the woods again…the thunder plains…the moonflow…the djose Highroad…Mi’hen Highroad…the kilica woods…and the path to Besaid…and then return to Bevelle, which means crossing all those areas except the kilica woods…to cross the macalania woods, calm lands…Gagazet…and finally the zanarkand ruins.NO.It would suck.We already know the gist of their jorney. It is not worth the risk. And if they add to much to the game, they risk making retcons…

      • ayb_91

You got a point there, but still. It would be better than X-3 in my opinion. Note that we don’t know the story details of these 3 men; Auron, Braska and Jecht. Plus, why some ppl exist as souls only. Also, the story of aeons. In addition, how did they meet each other and choose to work as a team. And how Yuna and Tidus were born. It would be nice to know all of that with some extra info.

I know that we know just the headlines, but still. They can make it perfect just like X, hopefully.

Thanks for sharing your thought. ^_^

        • Samsara09

thanks for being so nice.Well, that is up to the author, and he thought it was “unneeded” not enough “feedback” for it…whatever it is they consider to be feedback…if it is the web, this gigantic sewer or if it is only japan.

well,he must consider all the fans, and many other things that not even I know, that is what they must tell their professional writers and directors.Nome of them are amateurs.I am sure they will find someway to work around this sequel…
they can’t work on XVI…XV’s team is on max speed…so,only a sequel remains…and probably the”only” game left that would give the biggest feedback… the easiest and most logical to make…would be X,even though it already has a sequel.

          • ayb_91

Well said friend. I would buy the sequel of course. That’s the least I can do for my precious FFX. However, nothing is not certain now. The author just wanted to see a sequel for X. It is up to SE developers.

To be honest, I do wish it won’t be as girly as X-2 !! Also, I hope they won’t bring X-2’s battle system. It is slow and there are so many not needed cutscenes in there ( when you switch between dresspheres ). The battle system of X is way better unless they will make it like LRFFXIII. The faster the better. :D

            • Samsara09

Well, what if the yuna of X-2 had to do what she did on X…what would she have done differently? That is an interesting question, although it may seen useless.Don’t worry. From that preview, this game quite dark…perhaps not as much as X,but not as lighthearted as X-2.

Well,I have written down there a long list as to why of all possible sequels, the one most probable is X.We should indeed wait for an announcement, but…that audio novel..and the 10-2.5 novel…and those drawings for Tidus,Yuna and the new caracters…they most likely are working on something.

              • ayb_91

Yeah no kidding. They gathered the same voice actors for a reason. A higher possibility of making X-3 would be easily noticed then.

                • Samsara09

Shit…Yeah,…they had the voice actors redo all the voices…!!!Blast it.I had almost forgotten it…I imagine it was made so the VA could get used again to the caracters…for X-3….

                  • ayb_91

Anything could happen friend. It is SE after all. Please, be excited !!

                    • Samsara09

Yeah! And fuck them if they announce it on E3.I hate when a comapny teases you for months or years…like with XV,KH3…and a possible the world ends with you sequel.
If SE had a theme music,it would be this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBzcrV5E5yE

                      Nah,too badass for them.any suggestions?

                    • ayb_91

The new OSTs are great, in my opinion. Anyway, calm down friend. I see a bright future for SE. They won’t make us wait for no reason except if they want to lose everything.

                    • Samsara09

Well,I have been waiting for years for a the world ends with you sequel, with our dear Nomura doing the teasing for two years…calling it a series when it only has a game…then putting the caracters in KH:DDD,everyone voiced…

                    • ayb_91

I admit that SE has been a real b**ch lately, but what can we do? The less you think about them the healthier you will be.

Our dear Nomura is doing his best now. Working on two huge titles ( KHIII and FFXV ). Who knows what’s going to happen in the future? Have faith friend. ^_^

                    • Samsara09

                      I have.That is exactly why I am pissed.But I can live with it,no problem.Thanks for your concern.

Nomura has already shown that each part of his brain can take care of directing a game…and that his body can do many tasks at once…besides,he was really ocuppied in 2006,with BBS,the future of the series, designing XIII,TWEWY,etc.

They have many great games waiting to be born, and I am rabid for them…And you have to admit…their idea to make a countdown page to announce a ioS port of TWEWY was stupidity at it’s finest. They could have sent it for 3ds,would have gladly bought it…no..needed to tease more.

still, yeah, the new ost rules. They managed to make Seymour’s theme more epic.I hope he plays a major role in X-3…for he was treated quite poorly in X…by endgame,he was only a nuisance…

                    • ayb_91

                      No worries. ^_^

Nomura indeed is a great person and I wish that I see him in person to thank him and tell him to listen to his fans more. I believe that when Enix joined Square Soft, they made it worse. For example, X-2 and FFXII. I literally didn’t like XII but X-2 was somehow playable although it is/was too girly. >_<

To be honest, I hope that Nomura participates in every new title of SE. He really makes a good story, gameplay, leveling system … etc.

                    • Samsara09

                      Yeah!Well,http://tensai-shoujo.tumblr.com/post/71184989383/imperfectstigma-noelfuckinkreiss-merry check this!it is great!

Oh,about Enix…had that little merge not happened,Square would have died, and FF with it.At least we still have it,even if it diverges from what people were used to.XII was a mess, but well,X-2 was fun…and XIII and XIII-2 too,at least to me.

                    • ayb_91

                      LOL xD

                    • Samsara09

                      When I first saw the laughing cutscene,I immediately got it’s meaning…so I was sad,rather then laughing,well,I started laughing later though…but man…now this is a masterpiece…

ohhh!Check it up on jap.I think this is just as “great” as the eng dub…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gp5Ib7P0dAI

                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg9I54vFFms
the eng one, however, plays more on the “sad” part…the laughing ended up sounding more forceful. So,from a narrative pespective,it functions just as well or even better than the jap one.

                    • ayb_91

Lol. Yeah. I saw all of these recently. They made a joke of Tidus’ laugh, whistle … etc. I swear if I found the guys who made this I would … ugh forget it. But yes it is some how funny. XD

                • Samsara09

Well, don’t know what happened with my previous post…so i say again…hope they announce it soon.I don’t want them teasing us for long…
hey,I think this theme suits SE,what about you?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBzcrV5E5yE

  • EX+

    No thanks.

  • icup ✔️

i would like FFVII-2 and FFVIII-2 as well pls.

    • ayb_91

In your next life bro xD.

      • icup ✔️

        lol.

  • bloodiOS

I would love to have a prequel title or better yet a movie that focuses on the events of the Machina War as there is so much potential there. But a sequel?! No thanks. What kind of BS are they going to invent to continue the story anyway?

    • Samsara09

I put some thought on the prequel…and well,I would have to say no.First,we know the gist of it,second, the retcons they would be forced to do.Third, the pilgramage

Braska began on bevelle…went to macalania…then went to Djose…then to kilica…then to Besaid…and then all the way back to bevelle…finally zanarkand. And that is not even mentioning bikanel…and other events that they could add.Would you really do this trek?I wouldn’t.If they put warp points in this game, they would butch the meaning of the pilgrimage and sacrifice the interactions of the trio.

It would make XIII’s “corridors” look pleasant, and look that I am really patient.

      • bloodiOS

Except that Braska wasn’t part of the Machina War. Were you even reading what I wrote there? A prequel based on Braska is just bad, because like you said, we already know everything about it. The guy also ended up being used and died because of it, while changing nothing.

        • Samsara09

Oops,Sorry!I will make it up to you.I read it.Well,it was a war, they usually have the same causes, just the names change…and we kinda get the idea of why it happened if we compared the zanarkans vs bevelle conflict with the Youth League and New Yevon mess.

          • bloodiOS

It’s not about why it happen, but the experience of it that matters to me. Unlike Braska’s journey, this event was a major part of the story, and seeing it unfold from the perspective of Yunalesca would be wonderful. I personally feel that a movie would better fit the plot as opposed to being a game though.

            • Samsara09

in that case, yes. But well, the author didn’t deem it worthy of existance, hence it is technically “unneeded”.Well,we can imagine how she felt, when her city was ruined, her friends and family murdered, her father turned into that monstrosity…and having uselessly sacrificed her husband.

              • bloodiOS

Heh, he can deem whatever he wants of course. But I believe it certainly would be a wonderful experience if done right though, like Crisis Core. It certainly would be much better than inventing more pointless stuffs to continue the plot after the pointless story that was FFX-2. Also, despair is just one part of the experience, I want to see how she manipulated and shaped Yevon into what it was we saw in X. I want to see how she made her father’s enemies sings the song that praises her father. All about the experience.

                • Samsara09

When you have a gigantic flying monster whose merely presence screws gravity and can destroy entire cities, just like that,by standing still next to it…and with gravity attacks that can raze spira…well,I don’t think it was hard convincing them

                  • bloodiOS

You say it as though she is able to control the monster that killed her.

                    • Samsara09

well,it wasn’t exactly sin who killed her..it was the feedback from having the final aeon possessed, and the link between summoner and aeon been severed…or so they say
Well, thank you for reminding myself of this…just made a nice discovery…

                    • bloodiOS

Was it? Not that it matters, since Sin just kill everything it wants anyway. She couldn’t control it. Definitely wouldn’t be able to use that to pressure Yevon into popularize the Hymn of Faith, which was originally an anti-Bevelle song.

                    • Samsara09

Sin only ruins high tec level cities,Kilika sounds like an exception though…but if you think about it…Sin never razed to the ground Luca or Bevelle.

                    • bloodiOS

I’m sure Kilika was very high-tech…

                    • Samsara09

You know that dictators usually raze villages to the ground to make people fear him, right?Ahhh, yes,I remember,Sin attacks cities that are “too big for their own good”.So yeah SIn does population control as well.Man,scary beast.

                    • bloodiOS

Kilika is hardly that big… certainly isn’t bigger than Luca or Bevelle, which are both more high-tech and more populated than Kilika.

                    • Samsara09

Maybe Sin had programmed into his tiny brain numbers for Ideal population size…and city size…and well, razed to the ground any that didn’t fit the standards.Well, the more we go,the messier it gets, lol.

                    • bloodiOS

Or just keep it simple. That thing simply wants to blast Kilika for the heck of it, without needing any agenda.

                    • Samsara09

well, the thing is,since Bevelle was making a cult for Yevon,Sin wouldn’t destroy it…and since Luca allowed people to discharge their agony in the blitzbal, alienating them,it was an important instrument of control for Yevon…hence,it was excused from the population number, city size, and tech level.Spira is really a messy world, lol.Yevon makes the catholic and muslin religions look innocent, lol.

                    • bloodiOS

Honestly, if all Sins acted like Sin Jecht, then they would all likely be drawn to the person they care about the most. That was the case with Sin Jecht, he just shows up where Tidus is. Even Auron said that. Sin just happen to blast shits up along the way as it approaches the person it cares about. That thing does not think complicated thoughts.

                    • Samsara09

I think he was an exception, not the rule.Yeah, but well,it is just like a dog, with a set of instructions. And it will obey them to the letter.

                    • bloodiOS

                      More like one instruction:
“Kill where you feel like killing”

  • Tac-Mex

Well, Final Fantasy X doesn’t need a sequel to be honest but if a game like Final Fantasy XIII got a sequel and the only stupid reason they gave was “We want Lightning to be happy”, why not?

  • Xaltmas

The amount of dislike for X-2 is surprising. The gameplay is some of the best found in any RPG, eastern or western.

Or was the story not brooding/angsty/mature/whatever enough? I mean, X-2 isn’t nearly as embarrassing as the stuff Idea Factory or Compile Heart put out.

    • Lalum

X-2 was cheesy but the enjoyable kind, with a great battle system too. Overall I liked it despite its low points.

      • Xaltmas

It was an interesting take on the JRPG genre. What do the characters do once they’ve saved the world?

It was campy, full of J-pop and a lot of fun. Best gameplay around.

    • meiam

Battle system was great, but that was the only things that was good about X-2. Story was just really dumb “-Hey the two greatest factions are about to go to war with each other, what do we do? -I dunno, Yuna the person who saved the world from a centuries old threat and should be more respected than Jesus meet Budha, maybe you should do a pop concert in a large plain where ligthing is constantly falling down and potentially killing people”, and the fan service was over the top. Plus essentially retconning the FFX ending.

      • Xaltmas

How did it retcon the ending? There was that scene after the credits in X after all.

    • Nice Boat

Battle system was good but game design was all over the place. You have to visit every single area five times. 10 times if you want a 100%. Most of its minigames were annoying and the lack of budget was obvious when they recycled every single enemy. That’s not even touching the Charlie’s Angels story.

      • Samsara09

Well,it is just a year after the first adventure. If they put new monsters, they would have to explain them.Too much bother.Besides, they would have to waste time designing them. The minigames weren’t that bad…also, people complained the original only had blitzball,so at least one can say it is an improvement…

    • Budgiecat

If you ever watched Yatterman and Charlie’s Angels then you’d know why the story is cringe worthy.
Replace Yuna and gang with the Charlies Angels trio, replace Leblanc and her two goonish henchmen with the Doronjo gang and replace sphere hunting with Dokuro stone hunting and there ya go.
I’m sure he ripped off the dress sphere transformation from something something anime I assume….(maybe Cutey Honey? Sailor Moon? Who knows..I don’t even care anymore..)

Toriyama seems to like to heavily ‘borrow’ stuff from other material and claim its originality as his own.

Kinda like what he did with FF XIII and SMT Digital Devil Saga 1….

  • Sae-Won Yoon

Can’t I just get XV without any more delays?

Also what the heck would X-3 even be about?

    • bloodiOS

The guy should just focus on ensuring the quality of Final Fantasy XV‘s story instead of wondering about other unnecessary matters.

      • TerrenceG9

Unnecessary matters? The man is a writer and all he has done is express interest in continuing another one of his stories.

        • bloodiOS

A story that is absolutely unnecessary to continue.

          • Samsara09

well,if the autor feels like it,then it is not unnecessary.Only he can deem it so.The story is his, after all.

            • bloodiOS

And it’s also a story that he tries to sell to people, so it’s not just his right deem whether or not his story is necessary. He wants to continue his story, fine, but he definitely doesn’t need to continue his story.

              • Samsara09

well,he deemed it so.Besides,I am so bored waiting for XV that I am grateful they are giving us one more game.

Also,XV is already on the limit. They are giving everything the got.Besides, the plot is most likely already finished,so he is not needed much.

This guy most likely has some free time. And he is talking about his next game.Life continues, and well, they can’t do a main entry before finishing an releasing XV,they most likely don’t have enough people. So,a sequel is the response.

                • Guest

oh,sorry for editing so much.it is just that I like to make my point as clear as possible.

                • bloodiOS

He can start planning on a sequel of XV as part of that “world of Versus Epic” then, instead of locking his potentials into another sequel of FFX, which will undoubtedly be just as boring as FFX-2’s story was.

                  • Samsara09

Well, maybe he already did it?For instance,Nomura made kingdom hearts 2 in 2006-or so…and considering it’s final mix ,he already had BBS’s plot finished…and was thinking of DDD.DDD was released on 2011-2012.It isn’t that hard to make a plot, especially for a sequel or a prequel,if the basic premise is clear…

Well, one thing I am grateful for X-2.Revealing that the farplane was actually Spira’s core..and well, showing us the motivation, even if it could be deduced,of the conflict of Bevelle and Zanarkand, through the new Yevon and Youth League conflict.

                    • bloodiOS

If he already did the planning then he can go ahead start writing the whole thing too then. I certainly hopes since XV is planned as a sub-series, he will be able to create sequels that are much better than pointless add-on.

      • Budgiecat

The best thing about FF XV is Toriyama and Watanabe are not involved.

That improves the chances of the game being great by 500%…

        • bloodiOS

That and the combination of Kazushige Nojima and Jun Akiyama should give us a wonderful result (or so I hope.)

        • Samsara09

Well, that means nothing.People are going to compare XV with VII and automatically say it sucks. They would then create the term “Nomura’d”…”trollmura”,say the game is bland, etc.

    • Samsara09

Oh,SE has many teams. If this guy is gonna work on a new X,he will have to make a new one or reassemble X’s old team…or is he participating on XV?

Yeah, did my homework.it is the case.I imagine he only said that to get some idea on how would the feedback to a possible X sequel/prequel after completing XV would be.No need to get worried.I would rather have XV than another X entry…but if possible,I want both.

      • Samsara09

BUT,now that I think about it…I wanna both XV AND another X entry. That would be gold.Oh well, that is being greedy…still,we don’t have much intel.I hope XV gets done quick…so we can see if this new X game lives or not…

    • Wolf Star

Agreed, everyone wants FF XV (even me)

      • Xaltmas

Not me. I’d take a sequel to Final Fantasy VI, VII, VIII, IX, X or XII over Final Fantasy XV any day of the week.

But that is probably just nostalgia talking.

        • Wolf Star

I never played VI , VIII, IX and X or X-2. The only games I’ve played are FF VII , Crisis Core, 12 ,13, and 13-2 that’s it. To me FF XV is going to be an amazing game and hell it looks a lot better than 13 series. Plus XV reminds me of FF 7 the most. Also everyone wants XV.

          • DarkLegacy

Crisis Core was my favourite game. Loved the ending to it, which was sad

            • Wolf Star

Yeah I still have the game and I love it :)

            • Xaltmas

My ex-girlfriend has my PSP and copy of Crisis Core.

              Shit sucks, yo.

              • DarkLegacy

I thought Crisis Core was good. Although it was my first time beating Sephiroth without dying

                • Xaltmas

I hope it didn’t sound like I said the game sucks. :P I was talking about not having my game and PSP anymore.

I thought Crisis Core was a great game. Fantastic ending too, even though we all knew what would happen.

                  • DarkLegacy

Yes the ending was fantastic and sad

            • Budgiecat

Only thing that sucked was Genesis and his annoying poem recital trolling…

              • DarkLegacy

Loveless? Yeah kinda thought that too when I kept hearing it in the whole game

          • Xaltmas

You should play VI and IX. I couldn’t care less about the JRPG genre these days, but I’d still rate both of them as some of the best games I have ever played, with FF IX being my all-time favorite game.

            • Wolf Star

I’ve always wanted to play FF 8. Is 10 and 10-2 any good?? There’s going to be HD collection and I saw couple of trailers and it looks good. I’m thinking of getting 10 for Ps Vita but I never played it.

              • Xaltmas

They are fantastic games, easily worth the price of the HD collection.

I’d definitely recommend picking it up if you haven’t played them before.

                • Wolf Star

Sweet :) and no I never played them :/

            • Budgiecat

You should play Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll

        • Budgiecat

          or gas…

      • DarkLegacy

        And me

        • Wolf Star

          Ikr??

          • Lelouch Vi Britannia

Me too. I’ve been waiting since 2006 for FFVSXIII aka FFXV.

            • Wolf Star

Yeah it’s been like 7 years (now 8 since 2014 will be here) for me I’ve waited since 2007 then forgotten about it until 2011 trailer and waited until now.. E3 2013 trailers.. epic.. I’m really hopping for 2014 release date :)

            • Budgiecat

I bought a PS3 for FF Versus XIII and Street Fighter IV

    • EX+

      Exactly.
TBH, I think FF15 is the most ambitious game in the series so far.
I think it deserves its name and I think it should be the main focus for SE, aside from KH. Hell, make FF15-4 after FF16! Lol
But seriously, they should really give all attention to FF15 the second LR and the X remakes come out.

    • Lelouch Vi Britannia

Just make it a Damn Prequel that’d be Awesome.

  • PeaNutz

    I wouldn’t mind FFX-3, but I’d much rather have a FF7-2, FF8-2, or FF9-2.

  • DarthBrian

I would love a FFX-3. Especially if it focused on Rikku, Yuna and Paine again. :p

  • Pyrofrost

    Ummm, no fucking thanks SE.

How about you finish the game you started working on damn near 8 years ago. Not that I would mind seeing a X-3, but I believe SE has proven how well they can handle doing multiple FF titles at once.

  • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

Honestly… I’m not really sure. I don’t think this would stall 15 or anything, but I think it’s time for something new.

Perhaps, we could put a hold on the sequels for FF games right now, and make an all new Final Fantasy 16 to go along with 15. I really want to know what Ito-san has been working on.

    • Pyrofrost

A lot of people also believed that XIII, XIII-2, and XIII-3 did nothing to hold up XVs development either.

I’m really curious about this as well, and wouldn’t mind a X-3, if the plot is actually taken seriously.

I would just like them to get the pink elephant out of the room first.

      • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

I think 15 held up 15. They wanted to make a game that the PS3 couldn’t quite handle.

        • Pyrofrost

There are some that debate SE was just letting the time run out on a contract so they could make it multiplat, instead of just buying the contract out.

At this point, I’d say the important thing is getting XV (a near 8 year old project) out the door. Further new console FF games shouldn’t go anywhere past planning and concept until then.

          • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

I agree they need to get 15 out the door. For sure.

They have lots of staff, with each team focusing on a project, etc.

It seems like the team’s being ran my Nomura are pretty busy these days. I’m not so sure that adding more people to his team’s would help.

Remember Final Fantasy 12? They had so many people working on the game after the merger, it actually hurt the project.

Sometimes, too many people working on something doesn’t translate into a better game. I think this played a big role with Final Fantasy 12.

I want them to get the damned game out as bad as anyone else. At the same time, I don’t want them to rush after all of this waiting, and the quality of the game be affected by it.

Also, I don’t want some kind of improved edition to 15 that we never get, that is released only in Japan a year later or something.

I’m doing my best to remain optimistic. I really hope Final Fantasy 15 comes out in 2014.

I’d love it if they put out a demo, just to hold us fans over a bit longer.

            • Pyrofrost

I agree, I’m guessing it will probably be release in Japan towards the end of 2014 and be in the West early 2015. That’s what I am expecting.

There are a few other things that I’m sure has been effecting XV’s development as well, such as: Japan’s economy in recent years, SE’s numbers plummeting, and the amount of layoffs they have been getting hit with. It also explains their reasons for being so in love with the mobile market now.

Like I said though, like you, I would really be interested in seeing a X-3. Just not before XV. I would personally like them to finish this before they move on to new developments.

              • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

I agree. Let’s not forget – “A World of the VERSUS Epic”

                http://gematsu.com/2013/08/square-enix-trademarks-a-world-of-the-versus-epic

I’m quite sure Final Fantasy 15 is going to end with a cliffhanger. I’d say the chances are high. It might be Kingdom Hearts style, with a vague trailer post credits hinting at the future of the series, but, still, I expect it.

In other words — It might be quite some time before the entire XV “project” is actually completed.

In my opinion, I suppose this is both good and bad. Let’s hope SE can ramp things up some, and cut down these long development cycles this generation.

                • Pyrofrost

This is true Zero, and personally, my biggest gripe is the long term development cycle.

In my opinion, a development cycle for a company like SE shouldn’t pass two to three years. Over 5 years for them is beyond too long and isn’t a good sign. They’ve renewed my confidence and hype for it at E3 though; so hopefully they come through, and do a better job of producing their games in a timely manner.

                  • EX+

I agree. I have faith in them and in Nomura.
Hopefully they start marketing the game when the PS4 releases in Japan.

                    • Pyrofrost

Oh, I’m sure they will, completely sure. The PS4’s success may also influence the game’s release date, so let’s hope that does well too.

                  • Samsara09

they did say the game began full development in 2010-2011,so tecnically the game still is on that mark…but that indeed raises a question…what have they been doing for those 4-5 years before that, since 2006?

                • EX+

I agree with you and @ShinkuTachi:disqus about the release date of FF15. You may have seen me post that 2015 is the most likeable scenario, but I still don’t doubt a December 2014 release for Japan.
Like you said, the ‘World Of Versus Epic’ thing is referring to sequels. Nomura literally confirmed the game would get sequels at E3 as well. The question is, how long will it be before they make the 15-2? 2 years after the release of 15?
I wouldn’t even mind if Nomura gave it the KH story treatment.

                  • Pyrofrost

Hey, I agree with you as well EX, everyone here is raising good points.

I think we all want the same thing here, that is Versus XIII (XV) in our hands and for SE to simply get back into form.

Not try to be Squaresoft, not try to capture their former glory; but find there their own new identity, as Square Enix, and become the standard once again.

                    • EX+

Agreed and thanks. They don’t need to be the same company. They have to evolve.

But I’m wondering… could Nomura do the same thing with FF15 as he has with KH?
                      I
mean, FF15 and KH1 seem quite similar. They’re both simple. KH1= Trying to find friends.
FF15= Trying to take back the crystal.

Then further complications come along and we all know about KH.
really, I’m asking: Is it possible we’ll see FF15 games beyond FF15-3? Obviously, it’ll be a second priority as opposed to FF16 on the PS5.

                    • Pyrofrost

I could see it developing into a sub franchise being produced by the KH group, I just hope it doesn’t end up being split among 6 different consoles + Mobile.

I’m also sure SE has a team right now hard at work on the concept of FFXVI.

                    • EX+

Good idea. I’d like that actually.

                    • Pyrofrost

Considering KH3 is the conclusion, it will give them something to do so they don’t get bored :p

                    • EX+

KH3 is actually the conclusion of the Xehanort Saga and the series will continue afterwards.
I’m pretty sure SE will want to get in at least one more KH game for the PS4. After KH4, the Osaka team might alternate between the FF15 series and KH (KH5, then FF15-4, something like that) on the PS5. I think it’s a good plan.

                    • Pyrofrost

Oh, I thought it was the conclusion of the series completely :o

                    • EX+

                      Lol, I’m glad it’s not.

                    • Pyrofrost

I guess I should be ashamed that the only KH I’ve played is the first on. . . .on PS2?

                    • EX+

No, no, of course not. The first KH I played was 358/2 days on the DS. Lol
Then, I got into the series. My friend let me play BBS, I picked up KH1 and 2, then I got DDD.
                      No need to be ashamed.
Right now, I’m more interested in FF15 than KH3 and I hope they make it into a sub-series.

                    • Pyrofrost

For me, it’s more or less be circumstance preventing me from playing than anything else. I have them all, but there is generally something I always want to play more for some reason.

                    • DarkLegacy

Do you think there will be a KH4? The saga is suppose to end, and there will be series

                    • EX+

Of course. Nomura literally said it back at E3! Lol.

                    • DarkLegacy

I didn’t listen to that, but good to know there will be a KH4. And probably KH5, which will more than likely be on PS5

                    • Samsara09

perhaps mobile,or novels…Final fantasy isn’t kingdom hearts…I can’t put the proper words…but…it would be a little weird for a final fantasy game to pass the trilogy mark…and well, fan feedback would rock it…too risky.

                • Samsara09

They said,I think, that each game of this epic would be self contained.Oh well, even if that is not the case,I am not going to throw a tantrum and cry out loud in the web like some spoiled kid…

            • MrFinalgamer

i thought FFXII came out great…really great (excluding Vaan of course)…

              • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

Don’t get me wrong, Final Fantasy 12 is not a bad game, it’s not even a bad Final Fantasy game.

It does have some glaring issues though, like the last act and ending of the story. The lack of provoke or anything to justify using mages end game, and incredibly uneven character development.

Post Cid, the story falls on it’s face and is pretty damn boring. The character development is all over the place, Bash and Ashe get more or less the very short end of the stick, etc. I could go into way more detail here but I won’t.

The most effective way to play is using 3 characters and focusing on melee DD. It’s really a shame it could have been so much better by just adding a provoke. Also, it has, in my opinion, the worst limit break system of any Final Fantasy. The damage is not equal to what you sacrifice to use it.

Sure, this makes me sound like I hate it. I don’t. I’m just being critical of it. Besides a few other things, like, for example, you mentioned Vaan. I won’t even go there. Anyways, besides the stuff I’ve focused on, it’s a pretty damn awesome game.

I mostly loved the story up until the Cid part is over, it has some interesting characters, the combat system is addictive and unique, etc.

            • EX+

              This, a million times.
I’m a firm believer that longer development time = a better and more stable game. Especially with Japanese devs.
I don’t think I’ve ever bought a JRPG that needed a patch to stop the game from freezing, or felt that there was too much DLC because the creators rushed it.
Like you said, I don’t want FF15 to get the Final Mix treatment.
I don’t know about a demo… a month or so before the game is released? Sure. But not anytime soon. That’s just how I see it.

              • Pyrofrost

There is a difference between putting sufficient time on a game, and taking entirely too much time.

They aren’t some garbage upstart indie devs working in a basement. They are a multi-billion dollar publicly traded company, and they are professionals. A development window for a company like SE should not be 8 years, especially when it comes to their flagship franchise.

                • EX+

Well, yeah, I’m not saying they should spend the next 3 years working on FF15. I’m just saying that they shouldn’t rush it.

Then again, the name change and development of this game on the PS4 started in 2011, so they’ve had just over 2 years of development time.

By 2014 September, they would’ve had 3. By 2015 in March (when most Nomura games release in Japan), it’d would’ve had about 3 and a half. I personally think the game should be out by December 2014 in Japan, but I wouldn’t doubt 2015.

                  • Pyrofrost

I’m all for games not being rushed and shoddy. I just don’t think the development cycle should run any longer than 2~3 years, definitely not up to 5 years.

When I see games that had development cycles 5 years or longer, all I see are shitty games.

                • Budgiecat

wait….did you say it “should” be 8 years??

                  O_o

                  • Pyrofrost

                    huh?

                    • Budgiecat

Your last sentence.I must have overlooked where you said ‘not’. my bad

                    • Pyrofrost

                      oh, np.

              • Lelouch Vi Britannia

You make a point there Ex+ about JRPG’s not needing a patch. Thankfully many developers making this genre of game haven’t stumbled into problems like this as much as the FPS genre.Though only 1 jrpg had a buggy problem on release and that was the Wii version of “Tales of Graces”. so far as i know.
Do I need to say more about how BF4 is a clusterfuck of a mess.

                • EX+

Lol, BF4 is un-optimized and buggy trash.
On top of basically being BF3 with better graphics, the game is still broken after over a month worth of updates.
That’s why the only game I’m gonna get from EA this Mirror’s Edge 2.

                  • Budgiecat

I’m gonna get UFC. They usually dont mess up their sports fighting games….

Hey EX+! Just come to give a link to the 76th Open Forum, and that’s if you need to go on it

                    http://gematsu.com/2013/12/open-forum-076

            • Budgiecat

Somewhere along the line of development on the game, half the people working on FF 12 left the company when Sakaguchi resigned and that angered Matsuno (anger towards Square, not towards the team or the Gooch), so at first he threatened to not come in for a month and then eventually ‘bowed’ out of the project, claiming illness.

        • EX+

From what I’ve heard, various things held up FF15/FFV13.

    • Xaltmas

I eagerly await his card-based F2P iOS game.

      • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

        Please. No.

        • Xaltmas
          • new_tradition

            I…I don’t understand what’s happening here O_o

            • Xaltmas

The future. The future of gaming is happening.

        • Budgiecat

          you know he’s joking…cmon

          • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

            I know. ^^

I didn’t mean anything negative towards him with my response.

    • Samsara09

well, were not for the sequels,we wouldn’t have any final fantasy to play while we wait for the new main entries. Also, those sequels give quick cash to boost up the resources invested on the new entries.

So,I think it is a fair trade.I am not sure too, but, well, there exists the possibility that this sequel/prequel could be a blast of a great game…and what if we end up convincing them not to make it,afraid of it sucking? If the feedback is shaky, the game will either be cheap and/or “suck”… or won’t even happen.I don’t know…but, just saying that being in doubt is perhaps the best way to deal with it,

      • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

I’ll stand behind them if they want to make the game. 100%

Indeed, it is important to fill the coffers up for new projects. I like to think they can do that with portable games, which Japan eats up. Or, apparently, small mobile projects. (Which Japan apparently also eats up.)

My point was. They don’t have to put so much cash and time into those smaller projects, but the bigger HD sequels and such, those take longer and cost more.

The HD remasters kinda stand alone. I have no idea how much they cost, most likely not much, and I’m sure the teams working on them aren’t very big. I suppose if they sell so many copies, they actually are a win-win for fans and the company.

If they wanted to make Final Fantasy X-3. I doubt fans would welcome the game begin developed on crystal tools with open arms. That leaves some kind of older engine, or the hybrid remaster stuff they are using for X/X-2, or, a new project on the new AAA engine.

I’m sure fans and the developers would pick the AAA engine, which would ramp up the cost and development time of the project.

This is where I kinda question things. Do we want that? Do we want to wait a few years and get FFX-3? Or, would we rather wait a few years and get something brand new?

        • Samsara09

I think that you are right. That guy is checking the terrain to see if it is safe to travel…and safe to get out of if it gets troublesome.
I think we should do the same.We need to question things and keep up our minds open to possibilities. We mustn’t close doors rashly, too quick. And we also need some small dose of hesitation to open them, too.

Well,I too will stand by SE,if they make this game.My PS4 that I don’t have yet is already craving for some rpgs.

    • Nice Boat

I really hope the potential for sequels won’t make FF15 end on a cliffhanger or something like that. While I don’t about cliffhangers in action games, the story is one of the most important focus from RPGs which is I why found the ending (or lack of) of FF13-2 really bad.

      • Pyrofrost

I like cliffhangers, but I only like to experience it once the following installment comes out. I have been warned about the cliffhanger ending in XIII-2, so it has been sitting in my backlog, still unplayed.
I love cliffhangers, but fuck sitting on one for two years. If I can avoid that, I will.

        • echokanon

          Although I like foreshadows, I dislike cliffhangers…

      • http://twitter.com/kazumalynx Zero

Cliffhangers can be pretty annoying. I agree, the story is very important to my as well.

  • epy

I wouldn’t trust the current SE with any older FF. X-2 already did enough damage to the world of Spira, I don’t want to see a card based smartphone game where you play as Paine’s cousin’s best friend’s son and have the gall to call it FFX-3.

They would do it, you know it.

    • http://www.cubiz.tk/ Auragar

      They would too.

  • Budgiecat
    • MrFinalgamer

      FF IX-2 as well

    • Nice Boat

6-2 is quite impossible since that game literally killed the magic.

      • Lelouch Vi Britannia

an FFVI prequel would be perfect.
How about “Romacing Saga 4″ Square has been ignoring the Saga series for a long time.

        • Nice Boat

It would focus on Locke, Edgar or somebody else. Terra and Celes were kind of villains before that.

  • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Yeeeeeeeah… If you could make this guy have no power at all in deciding this, that’d be great.

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingHeroTetsuya TetsuyaHikari

Aww shit, lol. Okay, you’ll have to excuse the first comment. I just woke up recently and thought it said XIII-3 for some reason @w@

      Carry on.

  • Murasaki

Yeah, I would like to play FF X-3. But first, get better writer, and producer..
Ooooor, you could just let Falcom do it, that would be best.

    • KingKellogg The Waffle Haggler

More like FFX less like x-2

  • new_tradition

Weeeeell…I guess at the very least, if the person who wrote FFX (and FFX-2?) wanted to make a third entry, they’re the best person to tackle all the plot related things in a third entry.

  • Audie Bakerson

Well it would be better than 13-4…

  • Ken Ambrose Jakosalem

wow. people here just keep on asking for sequels when the title of the game is “Final” Fantasy. the hell square-enix! you stop that

    • rockman29

half the people here seem to be 13 years old and started playing FF on PS3 it would seem. Otaku wannabes mostly.

      • http://www.cubiz.tk/ Auragar

        Tune down that superciliousness, k?

        • Xaltmas

I’m ashamed to admit I had to look up that word.

          • http://www.cubiz.tk/ Auragar

It worked better than condescendence. That word sounds weird.

      • Luna Kazemaru

        This type of posting….

  • MosquitoLemon

Instead of revisiting mediocre characters that nobody cares about, how about they revisit any one of the 40 awesome game mechanics that they completely scrap with every new FF game.

    • HanPaul

      True that.
in FFXIII, I would have KILLED for gambits and leader switching.

    • Samsara09

Excuse me for caring for Yuna,Tidus,Auron and company.Guess that makes me a Nobody, right?

      • MosquitoLemon

I don’t want to attack anyone personally, but when you consider all of the amazing ideas that the Final Fantasy series has brought to gaming over the years and compare it to the rather generic characters and storylines that have accompanied said ideas, it kills me to think that people get more excited about a sequel than they do about the prospect of having a fun game.

edit – and to be honest, if you really cared about those characters, you’d let them have their peace as was shown in FFX. The thing I can’t stand about SE ‘sequels’ is that they convolute and retcon a lot of stuff that was perfectly normal. Case in point, Kingdom Hearts -_-

        • Samsara09

Well,if SE wants to revive them from the grave, who am I to stop them.Well, this sequel could be fun.I have some ideas about it,about why they are making it now,but we need more info and a gameplay trailer.

Well, when you see retcons in KH,I see new information being divulged…that corrects prior information we had that was either incomplete or wrong.Well,I am not even going to talk about 3D…because,yeah,that nuked my brain…but made everything even better.I like when things get hairy and messy in a rpg…means it is time for some epic shit.

  • rekka_zan

I want Final Fantasy Tactics 2 (not the Advanced version).
Or Dissidia 3, or oh I know! How about a Type-0 localization? *brb crying*

    • Xaltmas

I wouldn’t want Square anywhere near the Tactics series unless Matsuno was involved.

      • Jay

As much as I’d love to see another Tactics, you’re prolly right. Idk if SE has what it takes in its current state.

  • GODDUKEMONEXA

      This joke never get old.

      Toriyama confirmed 2-timer.

  • Nice Boat

FFX-3 seems more and more possible after hearing the audio drama from the HD collection. It is building up a lot of stuff.

  • Xaltmas

Well, if Final Fantasy X-3 ends up being a thing, it’s pretty obvious it won’t be until after Final Fantasy XV ships.

I could see the team behind the XIII games starting on X-3 and then part of XV’s team joins in while the rest goes to work on Kingdom Hearts III.

While Ito remains locked up in the basement.

    • MrFinalgamer

…what if this was the project he was working on?

      • Xaltmas

I can’t picture the guy behind FF VI, IX and XII working on the third entry to a game he had nothing to do with.

If X-3 is a thing, it’ll be Toriyama working on it.

        • MrFinalgamer

it was just a random thought. i always forget about him (even though i love XII, and VI and IX are my favorite games in the series) i do hope what he has in store is something good…Toriyama though, i’ll be cautiously optimistic about this.

  • Xaltmas

I finally read a summery of the audio drama aaaaaaand I’m out.

    It’s like a damn fanfiction.

    • https://twitter.com/GaleGlory89 KiQun

It’s a plot for Toriyama to overtake Tidus’s spot after he is done with his pink haired waifu.

      • Xaltmas

After seeing the ending of Lighting Returns I probably should have set hype levels at zero.

        I’m sad now.

    • bloodiOS

So,… you won’t be purchasing the collection?

      • Xaltmas

I had never decided. If the Vita version is good I probably will.

        • bloodiOS

Ah, I see. If that’s the case then perhaps wait for it to go on sales or become free for Plus subscribers? (Assuming that you subscribed for Plus membership.)

          • Xaltmas

I’m not really a fan of PS+. I like owning my games, and I don’t use my PS3 enough to justify it.

Like I said, I’ll probably pick it up for Vita. Something to play when Dark Souls II inevitably pisses me off.

            • bloodiOS

Yeah, sounds good. I do hope you don’t mind not owning FFX-2HD though, because I’m pretty sure that outside of Japan, they only release the Vita version of FFXHD with the voucher code for FFX-2HD included in the box…

              • Xaltmas

Digital doesn’t bother me. Its the whole renting thing of PS+ that I’m not into. I mean, its a great deal, but not something I’m personally interested in.

Or maybe I’ll just get the PS3 version, I dunno. March is still a while away, and it’ll be a very busy month when it comes to games.

                • bloodiOS

I think it might be a better idea for you to wait for the physical copy to go on sales before picking it up then. I mean, personally, if you’re not really dying to play it again, I think there’s no point in getting it this soon with all the new titles coming out on March (probably will keep you busy for a good while.)

  • Adol Christin

First Finish XV and KH3, then you can make all the sequels and prequels you want SE :)

    • http://www.cubiz.tk/ Auragar

Don’t listen to him SE (you scumbags), sequels and prequels need to die in a hole. New stories, and ideas. New ips. Ok? And more localizations. And less mobile bullshit. And less useless/shit remakes.

      • MrFinalgamer

but if they do that we’ll never get DQ XI or Bravely Default third or a sequel to TWEWY and Type-0 (even if those last 2 are a looooong shot)

        • http://www.cubiz.tk/ Auragar

That’s true enough, but you have to admit the 13 series ruined it for a lot of people (me included). Besides those aren’t true sequels so they are a bit you know up for discussion.

        • Samsara09

Well,if SE decides not to make these sequels because of the fanbase…

  • Nice Boat
    • MrFinalgamer

umm…who are they supposed to be? (excuse my ignorance)

      • Nice Boat

The first pic has Tidus and Yuna while the second pic has two new characters introduced in the audio drama

        • Samsara09

Age has been most kind with Yuna. She got even more beautiful.Also,Tidus.He looks like Jecht, just less gruffy

    • http://www.psvitadirect.com/ Kurisu Makise

Love seeing Nomura’s art, stay strong sensei.

  • echokanon

Noooo… stop stretching the games and move on to other games pls…

    • Samsara09

and what if they can’t go on to new games, they are on their limit with XV and KH3?Should we have nothing to play from them until those two are released?

      • echokanon

yeah, thats what i dont want to happen. Other than KH and FF, they actually still have many great assets such as Mana and Saga. There were still many series that can be continued rather than being stucked in the same few series and universe and stretching them.

        • Samsara09

Yeah…it is complicated to say why they pulled the plug on these series.Fan demand is something that they manipulate all the time to justify themselves…

I don’t usually see people complaining about these two series, yeah,i see them complaining about many other useless things…so maybe demand explains it partially.

          • echokanon

yeah, i dont mean they should not make any game, but there should be many better choice

            • Samsara09

Well,X is the obvious choice,if you think about it.

Final fantasy 1-3 are “unworthy” of sequels…from an objective point of view, since their worlds are too simple and basic, same about caracters.

Final fantasy IV already has TAY..and well, they burned their bridges with it.They shouldn’t touch IV any longer…and I don’t think they have material for another sequel…

Final fantasy V and VI are more interesting, but both of them are self contained histories, and VI is impossible to make a sequel, for magic,white-black or summoning,no longer exists. And well,V’s world and caracters are rather basic…since it has the same premise as I and III.

VII,well, that compilation burned their bridges…they milked it far too much

VIII had time travel…making a sequel to it would just “add to the headache”…and well, there isn’t sequel material there,I suppose. And it has no open ends.

              IX doesn’t need a sequel,no open ends remaining…

final fantasy XII had the ivallice alliance.Honestly,I am happy they ditched it…they were milking it far too much, and to me it wasn’t much interesting(too complicated)…however,I did like that there was a huge variety of rpgs styles there…that makes me sad.Hope they do something like this later.

Final fantasy XIII already had a trilogy, out of question.
Well,X was the only thing left,it seems.

Se should not depend so much on final fantasy and kingdom hearts, but well,it is just asking sega not to depend of sonic,or nintendo to depend of mario, although they have many other franchises that they ocassionally make games for…and etc.

P.S:this is all opinion, alright, even if I make arguments.I had to chop some of them off, though. The post is already huge

              • echokanon

I agree with you for most of the point. I understand that it is the main flagship of their company but I really dont wish to see them continue making a sequel for them especially when they were originally planned to have to story concluded.

For FFVII though, I’m pretty sure they have already planned or maybe even started working on a new episode. Given the foreshadowing/cliffhanger the universe can still be continued by featuring Genesis as he is still alive during CC/DC.

I think they just can’t announce it until FFXV is really released otherwise the fans will have many complaint on the company.

I just hope the next game will not have a short form of GC going by the trend of naming of the compilation nor should they try to make the game as a 7 episodes just to match the numbering FF7…

  • disqus_rIjnBIKvqC

god I hope they wont make a 10-3.10-2 is bad enuf.
and they are thinking of making a sequel when its remastered on the ps3,but both ffx10 and 10-2 was released in early 2000,why wouldnt they think of that then?
    so frustrating

  • Sevyne

It had little to do with the word pal, and more the blatant jackassery of the post. Though ignore the rest and focus on the one line right?

  • ayb_91

A simple example is here. Now, study hard. :*

  • Nhiroz

    ¬_¬

  • bloodiOS

Both of you started off by stating your opinions as though they’re facts, so really, neither of you were being nice anyhow. Now, while Sevyne was being harsh in his initial response to your reply, your follow-ups really hit it off the park. You first started with name-calling and then claimed to love FFX-2 more than he does. I’m sorry, that’s just totally ridiculous, what gives you the right to judge that? You also continuously accused Sevyne of “hiding true facts” about the game. Have you ever thought that unlike you, Sevyne genuinely felt that those aspects of the game really added to the experience and helped him enjoyed it more? He enjoyed something you didn’t. It’s simply a difference of opinions, and it clearly weren’t right of you to accuse him of turning a blind eye to your truth. Anything after that is just ridiculous, so I’m going to touch on that.

  • ayb_91

Lol. Yeah he is the angel here and I’m the devil. Go check his other comments to me. What’s wrong with you ppl !? Getting nuts just by calling you pal !? Ok not pal, jerk then. Better !? Wth !!!

  • bloodiOS

Oh, definitely, just conveniently ignore what I said about neither of you are being nice. That “pal” is one thing, but your condescending tone in that particular response wasn’t exactly something easy to ignore. But like I said, his initial response to you was harsh, I didn’t deny that. It doesn’t make your accusation of him any better though. In any case, I also said that anything after that, meaning both of your comments afterward, are just ridiculous so I’m not going to touch on any of it.

  • ayb_91

You are somehow logical. So, thank you.
