Toukiden: The Age of Demons release date set
New Tecmo Koei IP coming to PS Vita on February 11.
Toukiden: The Age of Demons will launch for PS Vita on February 11 in North America and February 14 in Europe, Tecmo Koei has announced.
The game, set against a backdrop inspired by various historical periods of Japan, tells the tale of humanity’s last stand for survival. Players will become a Slayer and protect mankind from the Oni, demons of various strength and size that invaded the world through cracks in space and time. The story begins eight years after the demons appeared. Players can fully customize their Slayer’s look, weapons (there are six types), and armor, and form a group of hunters to destroy the Oni.
In North America, consumers who pre-order at GameStop will receive two extra Mission Collections, and the “Mitama of Niijima Yae.” Amazon consumers will receive the “Mitama of Momotaro,” “a warrior’s soul that will strengthen the player’s skill,” and the “Cat Ears” and “Fox Mask” armor.
In Europe, consumers who pre-order via PlayStation Network will receive the “Mitama of Momotaro” and the “Cat Ears” armor. Pre-orders through Amazon, Game, and independent retailers through Centresoft will receive the “Mitama of Nijima Yae” and the “Fox Mask” armor.
