Rumor: Gaikai to launch Q3 2014 in North America

Europe not set to get it till 2015, claims sources.

Gaikai, Sony’s game streaming service for PlayStation 4, will launch in Q3 2014 in North America, according to “trusted sources” of Eurogamer.

Developers have already been briefed on the service, and some are being asked to take part in it searly 2014, the site said.

Eurogamer’s sources claim Europe won’t get the service until 2015. Asked if he could confirm a 2015 launch for 2015, Sony Computer Entertainment Group CEO Andrew House said it’s nothing he could be specific on.
