With AKIBA’S TRIP 2 due out on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan this Thursday, Acquire has revealed the game’s most important feature—the forbidden “Full Strip.”
The AKIBA’S TRIP series features the trait of undressing your enemy, as their skin is sensitive to sunlight. In AKIBA’S TRIP 2, these undressing techniques have evolved to the point where you can fully undress an enemy. When you pull off the “Full Strip,” your enemy’s private parts aren’t shown, but are instead covered by a dazzling light. They will soon turn to ash, leaving only their underwear on the battlefield.
The underwear you acquire at the end of a “Full Strip” can later be equipped to the protagonist and, under certain conditions, heroine characters. Collected underwear is also registered to the in-game encyclopedia.
There’s another collection element, too. Over 130 real-name Akihabara stores appear in AKIBA’S TRIP 2. By collecting flyers handed out around town, you can both add to your encyclopedia and fill up your map of Akihabara.
