Wow, You can’t stop Pokemon X and Y. And Grand Theft Auto V, too.

  • McPoo

Wow massive jump for the Wii U. Will it sustain those sort of numbers now or drop back down?

    • Nick Pantazis

I’m sure it’ll drop back down, but it’s a good sign that there is no inherent rejection to the Wii U as a concept, and software can move the hardware. So Nintendo needs to get those games out!

  • shogunknight

That WiiU bump!! Nice PSV sales too

  • refrain

Yay for Nep-Nep. That number is good consider it’s on Vita and only sold for 3 days.

  • Elvick

Happy to see PS Vita sales maintaining.

  • TheExile285

Neptunia sales are decent. Was expecting Gundam Breaker to do better on Vita. Also Daganronpa HD crossed 100k. Woot!

Glad Wii U got a bump.

    • 永次

Gundam Breaker was released a lot of months ago in PS3 and did around 300k, all the people who want the game they just bought it months ago. It’s normal that numbers.

  • MyBodyIsReady

Quite insane, I had no idea Wii Party U would make such a difference.

Glad to see Vita sales keeping a steady pace! The best is yet to come!

    • Furious Francis

Its wasn’t just because of Wii Part U, Japanese got these bundles that included three games and a Wii Remote plus for the same price

      • Kevadu

Ah, that makes more sense. I was really confused by those sales. I mean, Wii Party U was the only new title and it didn’t even do that well, yet there was this huge spike in Wii U sales…

        • Furious Francis

Well if you count the bundles, it sold over 70 K

  • Luna Kazemaru

    BB dropped :/

    • HeatPhoenix

      : DDDDD

      • Luna Kazemaru

        still a good game :P

and the Wii U take over begins.

          “Nintendo Fan 4 Life3”

I… I’m a nintendo fan too, you could say for my entire life but… really man… that username?

          • XypherCode

You could say he’s also a Sony/MS fan. But that’ll just make his name longer.

            • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

I am a Sony/MS fan also. But Nintendo came first so that’s why I decided on that name. Makes me unique I suppose to others who don’t represent their loyalty I guess to whomever. I like Sony second and then MS last, LOL. Sony is surprisingly close to Nintendo in terms of how loyal they are to fans.

              • XypherCode

                That’s cool bro :))

                • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Thanks. what are your gaming origins?

                  • XypherCode

Ninty was my very first. Been playing since the NES days and my favorite one was the N64. I’m not really a MS fan but Sony was my 2nd starting with the PS2. Of course my heart still goes to Nintendo first and foremost. :) But I still try to consider both companies equal in terms of gaming experience and memories. I don’t really like to be biased but can’t really help it sometimes. xD

                    • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Yeah, although my dad has N64 soon after I was born, I didn’t start gaming until the Gamecube era, with Super Mario Sunshine. I myself am frustrated with MS lately and don’t like them as much except that they have Halo. I got 360 after having Nintendo for years and then got PS4 and have to say Sony is way better than MS, and try to balance my allegiances but always end up going back to Sony and Nintendo. Nintendo will always be my first option. Glad to see I’m not the only one who hasn’t forgotten their origins and especially haven’t given up on Nintendo. It’s sad how many years later people who grew with them forgot they even exist altogether and then their kids never know :(

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

I couldn’t come up with anything else, and Nintendo was very first, for my entire life too up until now,-they’re responsible for why I’m a gamer in the first place- so I decided on that name but I do like Sony and Microsoft also, btw.

          • McPoo

I don’t see the problem with it really. It’s not like he’s saying ‘Nintendo are the best’ or anything, just that he always has and always will be a fan of theirs :)

            • HeatPhoenix

What an unusually reasonable response from McPoo also WHAT HAPPENED HERE HOLY SHIT.

              • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

                very mature XD

          “Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3”

          Mother of god.

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

you find my username that appalling?

            • Guest

Appallingly wrong on every conceivable level.

              • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

well excuse my lack of creativity on that part but it made sense to me since I grew up with Nintendo and they got me into gaming in the first place so that’s what I stuck with. I haven’t forgotten my origins and don’t plan on doing so either. What are the origins of your gaming? Where and whom did you start with as a child or teenager whatever that you still remain a gamer today?

                • Guest

I was between Nintendo and Sony to be frank. I owned loads of Nintendo handhelds but also played with many Sony consoles. Forgive my prejudice, but it just looked like you were trying to “expose” your royality to your origin a little too hard, that’s all. Cheers!

                  • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

It’s cool. I understand. Although I had played with Sony and Microsoft’s consoles earlier in life, I didn’t own any of their consoles besides Nintendo’s until last year and two years ago when I got the PS3 Super Slim and Xbox 360 Slim so I am pretty much a hardcore Nintendo fan first and foremost, with Sony second and the MS last. Although I’m getting more involved now with what the other two do and plan to do PC gaming sometime in the future, I never wanna forget Nintendo and how they changed my life forever. I bet you more than half of the users here grew up on them and have only forgotten them now-which is sad- but maybe with Wii U they’ll see that the Nintendo they knew long ago still exists and shouldn’t be forgotten, even when the day comes that they’re gone. I stick with Nintendo not as a fanboy but as a hardcore gamer, and that will never change. Cheers to gaming and Nintendo for the “Best is Yet to Come” for them-and also Sony, and hopefully MS :)

                    • Altin

Despite that name, you have a heart in the right spot. Keep on playing, mate.

                    • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Thanks ;) you too. May the heart of gaming never die!

couldn’t agree more. same for passion, as you can’t have the heart without the passion :)

  • MrFinalgamer

so the Wii U did some big leaps huh? it might be a blessing for Nintendo that the PS4 launches in Feb. looks like it still slightly alive over there.
also nice to see DR sell 100K! and Vita sales are still going strong too =D

  • Mark

    PSP still selling, wow!!
