Infinite Battle :( Guess I’ll wait for a price drop.

    • Budgiecat

Comes with another game (SRW OG Dark Prison). Not sure if that’s physically on the disc, or a limited time digital download (will be a separate game to buy on JPN PSN in the future). So a price drop later on might void out that free game if its limited time only….

Criminal Girls: Invitation seems to be have scored slightly better than its original counterpart (8/7/7/8 vs. 8/7/6/7)

Does anyone think that there is any chance Mirai could match the mainline series (on VITA/console) in terms of popularity and success?

I think a majority of Miku fans own a Playstation device

      • jujubee88

        This is true.

    • Elvick

Since you’d have to have a Japanese 3DS to import it, I think that severely limits the import potential. Compared to the PS games.

      So no.

      • Kevadu

I don’t think he was asking about in the west…

        • jujubee88

I never said anything about west or Japan. Addressing both or either places is cool.

          • Sevyne

But the fact that it’s region locked DOES impact overall sales and exposure in a negative way, and that is relevant to your original question. If importing was an easier option (aka not needing to also import a Japanese 3DS) then maybe it could match the mainline series in both regards, but with such a restriction I seriously doubt it’s a possibility. Even if the restriction wasn’t there I’d have my doubts of it getting as big as the main series, but I couldn’t say that as a fact.

        • Elvick

I’m just saying, that limits overall sales. There are lot of people that import these games on PSP and now PSVita/PS3. You won’t have much of that adding to Japanese sales, since you require another handheld for it.

          • Kevadu

The number of people who import is so small they’re not even relevant when counting overall success.

    • Kevadu

Honestly, I don’t fully get Sega’s plan with Mirai. It always had this weird spin-off status. Sure Nendoroids and those kind of SD models are popular, but how many people want *only* that sort of thing? Why is there even a need for two separate series?

  • Dick Mountainjoy

Do they even rate below 7?

Most late PSP games have like 20-27 famitsu score.
