The PlayStation 4 version of Diablo III runs at 60 frames per second in 1080p, Blizzard revealed at Blizzcon in Anaheim.
It is being dubbed the “Ultimate Evil Edition,” and promises to offer a “completely new experience to console gamers” that takes “full advantage” of PlayStation 4’s features with a custom-designed interface, touch pad functionality, and social features. It will also include the updates and enhancements premiering in the upcoming Reaper of Souls expansion on PC.
Owners of the PlayStation 3 version will be able to fully transfer their characters to the PlayStation 4 version when it launches. But it is a one-way transfer. Once your character is migrated to the PlayStation 4 version, there’s no bringing it back to the PlayStation 3 version.
