Busy with Oneechanbara Kagura but I can’t waiiiiit to get to this next.

Make no mistake people if you see stuttering, glitchy popping sounds, teleport npcs and other stuff, the developer has already come out that the Vita ver was made as their target, they expect to fix the issues on the PS3 ver on a latter patch.

Another reason VITA TV seems like a great thing is developers don’t need to deal with the complex issues that PS3 is known to have.

Sorry, I know that’s off topic to what you wrote. But Akiba’s Trip 2 is going to be on VTV and it wont need patches and people can play it on TV too.

        ugh ‘complex issues’….

It’s been seven fucking years for developers to learn how to program on that system. If they can’t get it by now they need to quit making games. Sorry for the harshness but its true. If Last fucking Rebellion can run on the PS3 no problem then there is no excuse. Enough with the apologist reassurance nonsense. It’s a low budget issue; not any fault of the PS3 hardware at this point.

    Ah this looks pretty good. Probably not gonna localized due to licensing issues ;_;

  • Audie Bakerson

So what are the extra models from? They obviously aren’t unlocked (he started a NG, not NG+). DLC?

  • Omega_Shiro

So picking up one on the 26th when I got more cash on me.

  • Omega_Shiro

was going to watch 5 mins for when I got it sat all the way though each part man my net is gone XD

  • MrFinalgamer

so…is this game (or series) basically Yakuza, without the whole drama, and realistic graphics?

    • Budgiecat

Closer to Kenka Banchou without the roughneck highschooler baddassery I’d say

    • kurosan9712

I’d say it’s only close to them(Yakuza, Kenka Banchou) by looks, since this game is actually much more dynamic in terms of gameplay, and the story isn’t similar to them in any way.

  • Omega_Shiro

This game seems REALLY good getting my hands on this in November 26thish

    • kurosan9712

The game itself is actually REALLY good, so yeah, you should get it.
Comparing it to first game isn’t even possible, because it’s so much better than the first game.

      • Omega_Shiro

I dose seem that way cant wait to get it

      • QueuedDisappointment

Is it really that much better than the first? I got the first on sale off PSN a few months ago and absolutely loved it (despite it’s many flaws, I mean it is acquire).

I am hyped! Should be getting it in next week.

        • kurosan9712

          It really is.
The battles are very dynamic and fluid(unlike ruggy and slow battles of the first). The Chain Strip system is very fun too(as well as Full Strip finisher, which occurs after you do 8 or 9+ strip combo). The new Unison Strip ability, which allows you to do great damage(to the opponent’s clothes, of course) by combining with you partner for a collaborative attack only adds to the improvements of the battle system,
The story is voiced(as opposed to nearly unvoiced first game).
There are much more things to do as well.
The characters themselves are much more interesting too(especially your imouto – Nana, who goes hikkikomori in the back of the bar where the guys usually reside).
The graphics(the least important, but something that has to be mentioned) are pretty good as well, imo.
The feel of Akihabara is replicated much better than it was in the first game(well, I’ve been in real Akihabara once, so I know). A lot of collaborations only add to that. Quite cool to hear(and see) promotions for Eiyuu Densetsu Sen no Kiseki, Makai Senki Disgaea 4 Return, Mind0 etc on virtual big screens.

I’m playing on PS3, by the way. Heard it has NPC teleportation, some other bugs, but I’ve yet to encounter any, maybe the patch I’ve downloaded when I first launched the game already fixed them, or I’m just too lucky.

    so good!
