PlayStation 4 will not support custom wallpapers, Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida confirmed on Twitter.
Asked by PlayStation fans (1, 2, 3) whether you could use a custom picture as your UI background, Yoshida simply responded, “no.”
In other Yoshida-related Twitter news, the Worldwide Studios boss also confirmed games will automatically cache data, “not install,” when you begin playing them.
As for PlayStation 4’s day one 300mb update? You can download it in the background while you’re playing a game.
The DualShock 4—PlayStation 4’s controller—has an “EXT” port at the bottom, right next to the headset jack. Asked what it’s for, Yoshida said it’s a “secret.”
PlayStation 4 launches November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe.
