Naughty Dog's latest currently planned to stay on PlayStation 3.

Naughty Dog has “no plans” to bring The Last of Us, launched this June on PlayStation 3, to PlayStation 4.

“We have no plans to do that,” Naughty Dog community strategist Eric Monacelli said in response to a fan on the PlayStation Blog.

Naughty Dog is currently working on at least one PlayStation 4 title. Though what it is has yet to be announced.

It’s pretty much guaranteed that The Last Of Us, Beyond Two Souls, Gran Turismo 6, and Rachet & Clank Into The Nexus are going to be on the PS4’s Gakai service anyway.

By the way, do we have any news about Gakai?

I only know we will stream games through it, but I don’t know anything else.

I don’t know much about it myself. Sony has been very hush about it since e3.

The only news Sony gave about it was “2014, America first”.

        No specifics.

They probably won’t have them until it’s closer to release.

I really hope the pricing model is fair, but whatever they go with will probably piss people off anyway. :P

I’ve read that it may come free with PS + but I’m curious to see how much PS3 games will actually cost through the service.

I personally prefer it stays the most graphically impressive game of the 7th generation of console and one that really pushed the limits of the PS3 rather than being “that one game that was ported to next-gen”.

You said Beyond: Two Souls wrong

      • McPoo

You said ‘Shadowrun, the 360 team based shooter that incorporates magic, tech and swords with traditional FPS gameplay’ wrong..

      • bloodiOS

BEYOND: Two Souls is the most visually impressive interactive drama. Calling it a game makes me cringe.

I do not think it would be a good idea to bring TLOU on PS4. Like Sal said, they’re already working on an unannounced PS4 title, I’d rather enjoy TLOU on PS3 and this next project on PS4, where it belongs. TLOU on PS4 would have been great if it was developed on both PS3 and PS4 (like Assassin’s Creed 4, Watch Dogs, etc…) but that’s not the case, so… :)

No plans to buy it even if it is “brought” to the PS4.

Who in their right mind thought it was coming to the PS4? Crazy. If does, it would be the original product with no enhancements through streaming.

It’s a BIG remake if they are going to make this game again just to port it on ps4. So instead, they are now starting to create Uncharted 4 :D

    ehh i don’t mind staying on PS3.

though putting it on PS4 with all the DLCs and patches as well as 1080p and 60FPS would be Godly though!
