Gold and black 3DS XL decorated in Triforce design.

Nintendo has confirmed two new special edition 3DS XL bundles for Europe.

The first is the Luigi Special Edition 3DS XL bundle. Due out on November 1, it will launch exclusively at the online Nintendo store for £179.99. It is a white 3DS covered with green Luigi silhouettes (the same one announced for Japan in April).

The second is the Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Two Worlds Limited Edition Bundle. Due out on November 22 for £199.99, it will include a gold and black Triforce 3DS XL and a download code for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Pre-order it at Nintendo’s website here (it will be available elsewhere, too).

Of course right after I buy a 3DS XL!
Thank God I managed to get my hands on the Fire Emblem Limited Edition Bundle.

  • Arla

Announce this for NA NoA! A Zelda themed 3DS XL is what I’ve been waiting for!!

  • McPoo

I wonder what a Luigi and Zelda 3DS XL would look like…

Green and gold and black… basically like Tri Force-colored vomit.

  • SuperLuigi

I want both but ill prob not get either. :'(

    • LordKaiser

      Both? What’s the other?

      • SuperLuigi

The luigi themed one. It was announced today for eu also.

        • LordKaiser

Ahh! I just saw it! I almost lost my sight!

          The golden one is better.

I thought maybe the design for the Luigi one could have been better. Guess it just doesn’t suit my tastes.

Which do you like the look of better?
The Luigi or the Zelda one?

          • SuperLuigi

No doubt zelda is better looking but you can prob tell I am a luigi fan >.>

European 3DS XL box: “AC Adapter NOT included”. :'(

Seriously? Limited edition console, no AC adapter.

    • Alkhan

That is very strange. I’ve never heard of an electronic that doesn’t run on removable batteries and didn’t come with a either a wall/USB/car charger.

      • $18114340

Here in North America, I believe the 3DS XL comes packaged with an AC adapter. I don’t know why the European version doesn’t; purportedly it was to “cut costs”, and I believe that the Japanese version doesn’t come with one either. It’s pretty crazy that they can fashion a limited set of specially-colored 3DS XLs but after all this time and once the system hits its stride in sales, they can’t be arsed to include an AC adapter?

    • Santashi

Yeah, the European ones don’t come with chargers, even the limited edition ones. Weird, isn’t it?

    • Zancrow

      I know, it’s fucking dumb.

    • AdamBoy64

      That’s beyond crap.

The greatest system of all time gets more coolness
