No wonder XSeed declined to localize Extreta. They did mention it was a “weird” game. Seems like Famitsu didn’t like it as well. I guess it can’t hurt if we didn’t get a really mediocre game.

But looking forward to Operation Abyss. Looks like just the game that’s gona be localized.

75/100 isn’t exactly bad, you know. Besides, nobody cares about Famitsu scores anyway, or shouldn’t. Not saying the game is good but Famitsu isn’t an indicator of anything.

Yep, Famitsu scores mean as much as a turd, since these days they don’t rate honestly. Good scores are BOUGHT, and others are just rated randomly.

I’m pretty excited about Exstetra, because I really like the opening, and as I said in article discussion about it – I NEVER saw a bad game with opening I liked.

        • DrForbidden

To each his own, and no offense intended, but I find it hilarious that someone who uses his own preference for game openings as a yardstick of measurement should piss on Famitsu’s scores.

        • Budgiecat

I love it when Famitsu scores are only valid to people when they are high scores for a game they like….

    • Renaldi Saputra

nope, I think it got 30/40 just because they don’t have bunch of features, not because of kissing themes. I saw there’re only some unique features in the game, the rest are just same like what every generic fantasy RPG have

    • FitzpatrickPhillips

Nice to see people mindlessly following a review score without thinking for themselves. Also nice to see people say that 30/40 is a bad score.
Is anything less than 95% a shit game now?

  • Elvick

Now where’s Book of Potions SCEA? And Diggs Nightcrawler? D:<

  • TheExile285

Scores be dammed, I still want Exstetra!

Akiba’s Trip 2 as well. I hope this one actually gets localized.

  • Kayseur

Not bad for Akiba’s Trip, I would’ve expected even one more point but doesn’t matter anyway, still pretty good considering the previous entries got 29. (Besides Senran Kagura SV got a 32, and that’s one of the game I enjoyed the most on my Vita so far.)

And I agree with the other comments saying Famitsu scores don’t mean much, although I consider that being over or under 30 is somewhat an indication of what to expect.

  • Renaldi Saputra

not so good score for extetra, despite its kissing features

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

Akiba’s Trip 2, Oneechanbara and Extetra. 3 of my most hyped games got 30 and above. Getting them all day one!

  • MosquitoLemon

I hope Moonlight Diva comes to the US, Metal Max is such a great series
