Tears to Tiara II…..yeah I played the demo. Didn’t seem that great. I can see why they gave it that score.

  • bloodiOS

Say, did I miss the review for PES 2014 or is it not out yet? And my lamb, the new mobile Disqus sucks ass on iPhone! It doesn’t even work when I use Google Chrome (forced me to use Safari!)

  • DesmaX

Not surprised by those Tears to Tiara scores. Played the demo and… battles were cool, but the rest…

  • Elvick

30/40 for FIFA on Vita? Shameful.

    Should be a 0/40.

    • bloodiOS

That bad? What sorts of problems does it have? I know it runs at 30fps so control input is less responsive than home console counterparts but what else?

      • Elvick

It’s not so much the quality, but the fact it’s literally the same game as the last two on PS Vita. All they did was change the rosters.

And they still charge full price. It’s a patch at best, being sold full price. AWESOME

And yes, people often troll sports games that they make no changes. But that’s not really true most of the time, but it is for the Vita versions of FIFA. I believe a couple other versions get the same treatment now too. I can’t remember which ones though.

        • bloodiOS

Ah, I see. EA doing their thing.

        • Hidayat246

if u play every PES and FIFA games you wil never complain such thing, seriously!!
all that thing is normal dude
every soccer games is like that

          • McPoo

No it’s not. On the consoles, the differences between the main entries are usually fairly substantial, even if they’re just refining and perfecting things introduced in earlier editions.

I had the first FIFA Football on Vita, from what I gather the next two are literally the same game, same engine, nothing new added other than the updated squads. That’s pretty bad.

          • Sevyne

Not really. Yes, the console games have a lot of similarities year after year. However they do add new features and tweak gameplay a little bit at least. The Vita FIFA games are seriously identical to each other with an effortless repainting. If you bought one you REALLY have no reason at all to even consider any of the others.

      • Sevyne

Vita has 3 FIFA games and every single one is identical in every way but roster. Zero effort went into them. They just kind of exist. If you had any interest in a FIFA game on Vita, you’d be best off grabbing the cheapest one of the bunch because you’d be getting the same game anyway.

Well you’d be best off not supporting EA for this lack of effort and skipping them entirely though.

  • Eclipse

The original Neptune game got a score of 26/40 (yes, it was pretty bad), so it’s very reassuring to see that Re;Birth 1 got such a great score.

    • Leon_Tekashi

It goes to show you how much they’ve learned over the years. =)

      • Eclipse

        Who? Famitsu? ;)

But yeah, it’s really nice to see how Compile Heart have been improving lately. I haven’t played my copy of Fairy Fencer F yet, but I’ve only heard good things about the game.

          Aside from the graphics -___-

          • Eclipse

            Art direction >>> graphics

            • bloodiOS

No, I’m not talking about their art, just specifically their usage of the blur filter. They never learned that putting that blur filter on their games actually hurts the quality of their arts, it unnecessarily blurred out so much details. It’s like how Tales of Vesperia was, which even looked blurry in the Xbox 360 version (despite using 4xMSAA and running at native 720p.)

  • tubers

Wow! Still plenty of software for the PSP.
