Why did Sega make the next Sonic game a Nintendo exclusive…seems limiting

    • kurosan9712

They have quite tight relationship with Nintendo now, maybe that’s why.

To save the rest of us from it.

I played the 3ds demo, it’s quite a good game.

    • Elvick

Because they got $$$$$ from Nintendo.

Same reason they let Nintendo have Bayonetta 2, instead of funding it themselves. (which would have been a good investment for them to make, but they’re stupid)

Sega at this point will pretty much take any deal thrown their way.

Judging by the overall sentiment of reviews flooding in, I think my comment below is accurate :p

  • Anime10121

Still kinda iffy on if this will be better than Generations and/or Colors. Looked kinda…slow to me. Still dont understand why they changed up a formula that seemed to be working great. But oh’s well, I’m still getting this! What can I say, I always did like the blue blur more than a certain fat Italian plumber…

    • Elvick

Well, they did slow it down.

Only addition I like is that they added walking. I think that was smart. Platforming will be easier in the future if they keep that for traditional Sonic.

It’s much slower than Generations or the Boost games in general, but based on the demo and footage I’ve seen, it’s much more interactive and enjoyable.

Parkour flows into the game amazingly well and if you know how to use spindashing and parkour it can be pretty quick and rewarding.
