Shouldn’t a demo come out BEFORE the game is released?

    • Bobby Jennings

No it doesn’t always work that way. in some cases(albeit rarely) developers want people to spend the money buying the game then get disappointed rather than them trying out the demo and being disappointed. It’s hard for me to explain because im so sleepy :/. Some developers also dont want you to feel the whole game within the demo which is why they usually wait a while before releasing one.

ehh…I’m just gonna get some Ritz crackers and orange juice..

Technically…yes, but in this case, the demo is to get more people to buy the actual game. It’s not uncommon, a number of games this gen have done this.

Great. I will play the hell out of the demo, and hope they localize the game.

    • Budgiecat

They’ve found their niche following in the West so why wouldn’t they localize it.

What I’d like is for them to stop using the same damn artist all the time. Try someone else. Like Amano…….oh wait…

      • DrForbidden

        Because it’s still a niche following…

It would be great if it gets localized, but nothing is a given with niche games.

This is pretty much up there in NISA alley though. So I say the chances is there.

But I don’t think it won’t be anytime soon.

I will play this demo!!!! Too bad I can’t use Effole(she’s adorably insane).

  • DrForbidden

Huh. I was just about to buy FFF from the PS Store…

Can’t say a demo released 21 days after the game launch is exactly encouraging, though.

The demo is now up, along with an online instruction manual hosted on CH’s FFF website:
