Is Atlus going to host anything? Or are they showing their stuff at another booth? Im hoping for a certain announcement with a 5

    • http://gematsu.com/ Sal Romano

Atlus doesn’t have anything upcoming that’s officially announced, and they never exhibit the show on their own. (Their one or two games are usually at a partner booth.) If Persona 5 is there, I would expect it to be announced in this week’s Famitsu (which leaks tonight). Every Persona game I can remember always had a Famitsu announcement first, IIRC. If that doesn’t come through, we can always hope it’s announced at SCEJA’s press conference or the PS4 keynote, but I don’t think either of those will be very announcement heavy. I’m happy to be proven wrong, though!

      • Gigus

Ugh… alittle off topic but have you posted any on news on the project destati that everyone thought it was KH 2.5 announcement? The site is already up and its just a music promotion or something. If you already knew, then I wasted a post and your time XD My bad in advance.

  • bloodiOS

Damn it! I want the SCEJA Press Conference livestream…

    • Gigus

*points at the live stream links provided on the page* there is another site saying they are doing it but meh. Its not really official. *still points at imaginary link*

      • bloodiOS

Wait, now I’m confused. What does this mean then?

September 18 at 17:00 – SCEJA Asia Press Conference (live stream not announced, via)

        • Gigus

lulz I’m just playing XD but to be honest its really up in the air XD. Again just joking hence the imaginary link in my post.

          • bloodiOS

Give me a break, man. I just woke up. My reading comprehension is totally not working right now.

            • Gigus

Ugh…. I would have if I knew you lived on a different time frame -__- thus not being mind reader. Now WAKE UP!

              • bloodiOS

Just found my glasses. Couldn’t really see where they were before with one eye closes and half an eye opens. I should be able to read better now.

                • Gigus

I think I’m straying off here but whatever… but do you ever feel like Dexter or Velma when you can’t find your glasses? lol I do -__-

                  • bloodiOS

Nah, my eyesight isn’t that bad. It just easier to read with them on.

    HYPE!

  • Bobby Jennings

Square and Namco as well as Sega. LETS GO.

  • Xaltmas

Hatsune Miku and Lily Bergamo are all I need. I’m really excited for that indie event that Sony is doing. Hopefully they bring some of those games our way.

WAIT. I wonder what Itsuno Hideaki’s new title will be. Devil May Cry 5 plz.

    • DarthBrian

      Mikuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! <3

I got the platinum in the first one a couple weeks ago. Really hoping we get Project Diva F 2nd. I need more Miku. <3

      • Xaltmas

I haven’t picked it up, since I’m still holding out hope they’ll throw the Vita version up on PSN, since Sega keeps saying they “hear” all the requests for it.

I tried the demo, and as nice as Miku is on a 52″ screen, I’d rather have it portable. >_>

        • DarthBrian

You should get the PS3 version.

          It’s soooooooooo goooooooooood. <3 <3 <3

I've had Odds and Ends stuck in my head for weeks now! <3 <3 <3

  • DarthBrian

So Sony is not live streaming their press conference?

    Well, that’s a bummer.

EDIT: Oh, but that press conference looks like it’s geared towards the asian market that is *NOT* Japan. Weird.

    • Gigus

I really doubt they’ll stream the conference. TGS is only a few hours away (for me).

I think they’re looking at the big picture now since they know they have a huge market all across Asia. I just hope they don’t leave you western folks out in the dark XD

      • DarthBrian

I didn’t expect a stream for us western folks. I just expected one for Japan/Asia that I could watch without understanding what the hell was going on and hence relying on a live-blogger giving me updates in another browser tab that I would be flipping back and forth to like the ravenous drooling fanboy that I am. :p

        • Gigus

You’ll flip around like a fanboy regardless if they announce anything interesting for you XD. Right now, I’m hoping cell phones wont become all the rage where I’m from.

I did like the fact that in the past few TGS, they announced a custom ps3.

There could be a good chance, those new vitas will reach all other regions of Asia. I just wish they didn’t get rid of the OLED screen :/ Not liking the LCD.

  • Dark_N11

” the reveal of an unannounced title. Featuring director Itsuno Hideaki”

    Dragon’s Dogma 2 Please.

    • DarthBrian

Apparently that’s a good game. Didn’t have the time to play it or money to buy it. Maybe it’ll be discounted/free on PS+ at some point. :p

      • SwappingFrom360toPS4

Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen is free on EU PS+ next month, (October, well, September 28th most likely)

It is the full original Dragons Dogma game, with the Dark Arisen expansion pack.

  • EX+

I hope KH3 and FFXV are both there. Thoughts on when it’ll be there? Aside from that, lemme see that MGS5, Lily Bergamo and dat Yakuza Ishin. And a next gen tales game.

    • Xaltmas

No new info for FFXV at TGS.

      http://www.novacrystallis.com/2013/09/no-new-final-fantasy-xv-information-at-tokyo-game-show-this-year/

And I’m pretty sure Kingdom Hearts is way more likely to be at D23 in October.

      • EX+

        I know… I just found out.
There better be some god damn new footage running on the PS4.

        • Xaltmas

Square Enix never fails to disappoint!

          • EX+

I understand that LR needs the centre stage and it does look pretty good, but no one asked for it.
I don’t really care about LR, I just wanna see KH3 and FFXV and I want them to come out. LR is just getting in the damn way. Both KH3 and FFXV better have a shit ton of gameplay and a 6 min trailer for each at Jump Festa. And that’s in fucking December.

            • Xaltmas

Didn’t Nomura say not to expect Kingdom Hearts III anytime soon? Knowing Square Enix, it’s probably best to not get your hopes up.

              • EX+

                True.
Well at keat MGS5 and Lily Bergamo will satisfy me these next four days.

I don’t think there will be anything on KH3 but perhaps a new teaser. They have a very long way to go and announced the game prematurely. We are not getting that game until 2015.

  • Alex TSi

    It’s a HOT 4 days !!!
Hope for new Persona and more jrpg on Playstation.

    • pixxxelz

I want to know more about that new (expansion?) for persona 4 arena too but yeah my body is ready for persona 5!

  • Xaltmas

If Arc demos Kokonoe for BBCP, I’ll maybe think about forgiving them for making the game PS3 exclusive.

This is coming to PSO2 JP

While there’s no mention of a western release date yet they get seabed quests on planet Volpar.

SEGA will have a playable demo for the TGS.

Damn, havent even taken out the boss for the recent update yet

      • LordKaiser

You have more than enough time. These quests will be released on November.

        • shogunknight

          Ah ok, thats great

          • LordKaiser

But if the level cap is lifted in October to 65 and a new difficulty then it’s possible that something may get released in October.

  • SuperLuigi

This website was mentioned on ign talking about this article. That’s cool http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/09/17/capcom-unveiling-new-game-at-tokyo-game-show

    New Itsuno game? HYPE!

  • almostautumn

Lack of Freedom Wars upsets me :(

There’s actually not too much on this list I’m excited for. Outside of 575, Lily Bergamo, and J-Stars VS I just can’t get too excited about anything else. Dead Body 2 I’d like to be excited about, but without a localization confirmation I think it’d be best to stay in the dark :(

EDIT: Wow! Totally forgot about ‘Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day;’ that game looks straight up amazing; very excited to learn more about that one!

    • Xaltmas

      Nevermind.

Sony’s SCEJA press conference happens at 4am tomorrow morning EST, guys. Hoping for some news.

    • SwappingFrom360toPS4

      i really hope so too.

but i am not getting my expectations up, because i don’t imagine they would be trying to promote their already sold out console… i expect more news to come after the PS4 releases, when they have more stock… maybe just before Christmas?

I was a fool to think I would be getting sleep tonight.

        • Solomon_Kano

No rest for the weary, eh?

Welp, let’s hope you get something good out of it.

          • http://gematsu.com/ Sal Romano

I lied. I fell asleep and it was awesome.

            • Solomon_Kano

Haha. What luck, I actually stayed up through the whole thing. Ack.

    • Willgaea

Are the streams going to be put here, or in a separate branch?

      • http://gematsu.com/ Sal Romano

        ?

They’re all linked in the post above.

        • Willgaea

Ah, I see, I thought the video players were going to be on the site :P

  • almostautumn

Bizarre question, but does anyone know if “The Bouncer,” for the Playstation 2, bombed in Japan? Call me crazy, but I have genuinely been hoping for a sequel to that since that game released. For whatever reason I was thinking S-E were going to announce it at TGS this year.

  • Mugen555

Huh, surprisingly they have stage for Infinite Battle even bring along Midorikawa and Okiayu(both pretty much icon of rabid SRW fans) i hope this is also not for infinite battle only but detail about Dark Prison

  • Learii

what time TGS start in the west?

    • Rem

The time depends on your region. TGS starts in about 7 hours, if not earlier. I’m referring to Capcom’s opening at 10:20 JT.

    come on Tecmo !

    • Seasqwaa

Yes. This would be lovely. I’m hoping for this with allllll of my soul. Except with an option other than Wii U as I don’t have it yet T-T.

  • DarthBrian

So much good stuff but I don’t have time for this. I’m still playing Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix. Way more important than TGS. T_T

  • Willgaea
