Sonic takes on Zor, Zazz, Master Zik, Zavok, Zomom, and Zeena.

Sega has released an extended version of its Sonic Lost World ‘Deadly Six’ trailer.

The trailer lets viewers select one of the Deadly Six bosses Sonic will face in the upcoming game, before jumping to a segment dedicated to the selected boss.

The Wii U and 3DS-bound Sonic is due out on October 22 in North America and October 18 in Europe.

The emo one cracks me up. The rest of this year there are too many great games coming out. Can’t wait for sonic though. The more 3d platformers the better.

I’m more of a 2D guy, myself. Rayman Legends and Puppeteer. <3

That being said, I AM looking forward to Knack, so there is some 3D platforming in this old soul~

      • Locksus

Uh, I really want to like Knack, but it doesn’t look very good to me. Based on the videos I’ve seen (E3 gameplay and trailer), the combat is incredibly shallow and easy, the levels extremely linear and it doesn’t even look like there are that much platforming.

I might be wrong, though. Actually, I kind of hope I am.

        Nobody likes a bad game

I think you’ll want to go hands-on with it! I think you’ll change your mind, especially if you ever liked Crash, Spyro, Jak, and/or Ratchet games. Knack can get more challenging than I expected, especially with difficulty settings. And it’s really fun to play. The combat has more going on than most 3D platformers do, albeit maybe less than Ratchet and its crazy guns.

I knew I wanted to support the game from the beginning, due to its charming look, Cerny and Japan Studios development, and my support of quirky/innocent games. But I had some reservations about just how well it would hold up against its legacy. My experience has been that it holds up very well and surpasses them in numerous regards.

The demo content is at least fairly linear, as is typical of the genre, though there are secret paths and such to find.

Yes, I DID like Crash, Spyro and Jak 1 a lot. I never really played R&C games, even though what little I did, I enjoyed them all.

That all sounds good, so I might go and check some of the more recent videos. Who knows, my opinion might change.
It’s impossible to know before I’ve played the game myself, which won’t be in a while, though.

I’m giving you an upvote because you got a downvote for literally no reason.

        Lol thanks.

    I left a comment, and now it’s gone. o_o

      It’s there.

Blame Disqus for being Disqus. -__-

      • Zackasaur

        Damn you, Disqus!

Yeah, I guess I should just kind of get used to stuff like that. I love the concept of Disqus; it’s sort of like the Facebook of blog/news site commenting systems. I just wish it worked a tad bit better sometimes. Maybe with time~ I first synced up with Disqus when this site did.

        Thanks for the reply.

        EDIT: Now I see it!

  • FlameEmperor

Sooooooooooo……… Is it weird that I find Zeena to be hot…?

    • Calvin Chikelue

Not weird, man. Not weird at all.

  • DreamDrop♥

Let’s go three for three Sonic Team.

  • Ultrapieguy

I wish SEGA would localize Yakuza 5 and PSO2, but I guess this looks cool.

The new control scheme makes so much sense, I can’t help but wonder why they didn’t think of it back during Sonic Adventure.
