I’m still waiting for this game…

Hehe I remember when it first was announced.

And it’s running 60fps. Must be PC version with all these gorgeous visuals.

      • DrForbidden

Developers will almost always release gameplay footage of the PC version before launch, as long as a better-looking, better-performing PC version exists. It’s not really bullshotting, but the intent is the same.

  • Budgiecat

This is reaching FF XV, Last Guardian and Duke Nukem Forever development hell territory

btw this is what DW Empires should be like

    • Raiu

Unlike those games you mentioned, there is actually gameplay footage for KUF2…. So stay positive!!!

And yeah, DW Empires should have looked like this…

      • Zackasaur

Wait, what? FFXV has a lot of gameplay footage, and The Last Guardian’s old trailers were composed of a fair bit of gameplay. Anything old will simply be better now.

Duke Nuken Forever cannot be in the same category as these other three. Instead of taking a long time for one ingenious project (FFXV and TLG obviously qualify; I can’t speak for KUFII yet), Duke just kept getting scrapped and restarted with different devs, different tech, etc. What we eventually got was not just an awful game, but an awful game that didn’t take exceptionally long to make. Most of the “years” of development weren’t used for anything in the end.

The same cannot be said of the others.

        • Raiu

          Arghh… You’re right…. I forgot about the recent FFXV videos…. Silly me…

Although I can’t help but feel that each FFXV video has cutscenes taking more than half of the video length….

          • iam_yotbox

well, Final Fantasy’s are half cutscene, half plot (and even that can be divided into exploration/subquest). At least they’re honest on that front.

          • Gigus

Tetsuya explained that he’s trying to stay away from long cut scenes or have them interactive in a interview recently.

  • Raiu

    Hhnnngggg…. I want this so bad…. ;_;

This game will never be released, won’t it?

  • KIngpigeon96

This game looks like DW on steroids.

    The game looks awesome.

  • Demolish

i want this game coming 2 ps4 will be awesome.

  • Sephia

You guys should be ashamed for comparing this as an improved DW. DW sucks since DW6.

Anyway, waiting for this game since freakin’ AGES! Wouldn’t surprise me if it comes on PS4 as well.

    • Ladius

DW6’s issues have been corrected or removed in DW7, Warriors Orochi 3, DW8 and their spinoffs, so I think it makes little sense to attack the whole series just because of an unfortunate blunder.

      • Sephia

Is that so? I still think the series sucks. I was a big fan before. They put little effort into their gameplay. Square+Triangle for 80+ characters is hella boring. And no, adding to that EX and musou attacks isn’t going to make it better. DW9 need to be a major overhaul. Period.

        • Serovath

u’re missing out. warriors orochi 3 is actually worth every penny.

  • Raoni Marques

Wow, it’s been years since I last heard about this game. Thought it was canceled by now

    • OMan

Actually Blueside was steadily releasing information about it for last like 12 months. In that time period they released:
A video showcasing the game running on an old NVidia 7600GT. As far as I know 7600GT was the GPU mentioned in minimum PC requirements, so they wanted to show it actually can run the game.
A video showcasing the PS3 version.
A video from one mission – Iron Plain or something like that.
Information that the game will be released in SEA regions.
Information that the game’s client was downsized from 70GB to like 11GB.
And lastly camera-recorded gameplay from an Indonesian expo appeared few weeks ago.

But yeah, it was just little tidbits, that were easy to miss, unless you followed the game specifically.

  • Learii

I wait so long for this game but is never released =( where is it

  • bloodiOS

There should be a PS4 version, too.

  • miyamoto

    DRAGON FORCE by Working Design!!!!
    in 3D!

  • Gigus

I’ve never played the previous kingdom under fire games but this looks interesting. Never new this was an RTS. Kinda curious why this game isn’t on a MS console since the previous ones were.

  • DrForbidden

While this game certainly looks amazing, considering the speed Blueside works at, I have to question whether it will even be released before Sony discontinues the PS3…

  • Serovath

wow… thought this game was scrapped. glad to see its still alive. but since the targeted release is 2013 in korea… prolly would take quite awhile b4 an english version hits.

i was hyped up for this when it was announced… now, not so much. :)

  • Ritsujun

    Hell yeah.
