Drop in and drop out as a silver robot Knack.

PlayStation 4 launch character platform game Knack will have a drop-in, drop-out co-op mode. Sony shared first screenshots at the Tokyo Game Show.

A second player can enter or exit the main game at any time as a silver Robo Knack, who can donate his gathered relics to the real Knack when he is damaged.

This would allow more skillful players to assist less skillful players in difficult situations.

    As gross as ever.

Is that all you ever comment? “Gross” this, “gross” that? If it’s something you’re not interested in, and you have nothing more constructive than “gross” to say, then you might as well not comment.

        So true.

Awesome! My girlfriend and I are going to have a great time with this. c:

We’re blasting through Rayman Legends and Puppeteer right now. Good couch co-op is hard to beat.

      I miss couch co-op.

        Same here.

Now if I can just con my boyfriend into playing with me.

    • Gigus

That’s disappointing. Why wouldn’t ur boyfriend not wanna play video games with you. He’s lucky to at least have a girlfriend who is gamer if he’s a gamer too.

      • Elvick

        I’m a guy. xP

We usually end up fighting if we play games together. Since he doesn’t have patience to learn, and I don’t have patience to teach. A bad combination.

Still, I would like to play games with him.

        • Gigus

Lulz I didn’t know. Well ur still a person lol. Plus I get excused cuz internetz and I’m a robot XP

Moderator – Not a very good joke.

I think Knack might work for both of you.

“Progress is gated by what Knack does,” Cerny said, meaning the game follows Knack, not robo Knack, so the second player won’t hinder the first player as they progress.”

That sounds like it should be easy to play together. You don’t really have to teach him. He can just figure it out why you control the flow of the game as P1.

Jeez, I know that all too well. I tried to play a couple of videogames with past girlfriends, but it always devolved into them either getting frustrated or bored while I was having the best time of my life and looking for another three hours of gaming :P

Some people just don’t get videogames. Just gotta shrug those looney-toons off though I guess.
