Latest Toriko game has four-player co-op play.

A new Toriko game is in development for 3DS.

Toriko: Ultimate Survival, due out in Japan in winter 2013, supports four-player co-op multiplayer, has over 10 playable characters (the scan confirms Toriko, Teppei, Rin, and Komatsu), and over 300 types of beasts and plants (like Hannya Panda).

I guess the 3DS is the new PSP for this generation (tie-in and Japanese 3rd party support).

It’s pretty split. Vita gets many tie-in games that 3DS doesn’t. And vise versa.

3DS is getting a lot ofl rereleased games from psp like One Piece and Kurokos basketball

And? Vita got One Piece Pirate Warriors 2. Granted it won’t been localized. Vita’s getting DBZ, J-Stars Victory VS, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Danganronpa, etc.

Like I said, it’s split. Do you know what split means?

Didn’t a new Toriko game just got released in July on the 3DS. Good news for Toriko fans, I guess.Sad for us import peasants.

Isn’t Toriko anime localized? What’s with this DBZ/Naruto only localization bias Namco?

    • Elvick

Probably due to the popularity of DBZ and Naruto, compared to Toriko… (which personally I’ve never heard of before).

      • Budgiecat

Is DBZ even on U.S. TV anymore? And Naruto? Funimation pushes Toriko on their website and so does Crunchyroll. More so than Saint Seiya, which got dumped fast off the airways years ago, so why is Namco localizing it’s PS3 game now to the U.S. and not Toriko? Also no localization of Gundam games (besides Koei) despite Gundam being popular in the U.S. for years It’s so inconsistent …
