First screenshots of former platform-exclusive fighters.

When Soulcalibur II first launched on PlayStation 2 and Xbox, each version had its own exclusive character. PlayStation 2 had Heichachi from Tekken and Xbox had Spawn from Image Comics. In Soulcalibur II HD Online, Namco Bandai’s upcoming upgrade for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE, both characters are included in each version.

Fuck yes. I figured Heihachi would make it, since there was no reason for him not too, but I’m so glad Spawn is still in. And now I can play as him on Playstation~

    No link no buy sorry.

  • Panda

Nice. Never got to play as Heihachi since I had the xbox version.

    No Link?
No Wii U or even just a digital nintendo version?

    I’m a bit sad.

This and that are separate things.
I have a sad feeling that Nintendo will probably release the original Gamecube game in their store, which means having a superior version available for the system is out of the question.

Too bad people only cared about Link and he’s not coming back, lol.

since there is no hd remake sc2 fo nintendo then we can say good bye to link :(

Spawn is awesome. I honestly wish Heichachi wasn’t in it though. Can’t stand his infinite combos, absurd juggling and all that. It just doesn’t really fit in with Soul Calibur. It’s a fun little bonus, but he can be pretty annoying to fight against.

    :( Link…………………
The only reason I ever played a Soul Calibur in the first place.

I would presume the reason for Wii U ain’t getting Soul Calibur 2 HD is either 1. Potential sales ain’t high enough to make justify the development cost or 2. Namco won’t give Nintendo a exclusive character.
