Dying Light developer opens Canada studio
Digital Scapes developing "key elements" of upcoming game.Dying Light and Dead Island developer Techland has opened a new development studio located near Vancouver, Canada.
The studio, called Digital Scapes Studios, is led by former Radical Entertainment technical director Marcin Chady, and boasts a number of team members who contributed to the Prototype franchise.
Digital Scapes is currently tasked with the creation of “certain key elements” in Techland’s upcoming Dying Light.
“Starting a studio in Canada opens up a wide range of new opportunities in the realm of game development,” Techland boss Pawel Marchewka commented.
Until now, Techland has created games at two development studios, located in Wroclaw and Warsaw, Poland, respectively.
