    This game looks beast!

  • bloodiOS

That sure is an uncaring face.

    • DrForbidden

Are you referring to Three or to your new avatar? :P

      • bloodiOS

What are you talking about?! My avatar is totally caring! See how happy it is to see you? ;D

        • DrForbidden

Oh lord. I think I just felt my soul vacate my body in terror…

          T_T

  • Zuhri69

I’m gonna say it. RIDER KICK!!!!

  • maruhadapurpurine

isnt this game just a harem trying to disguise as a action rpg? because, thats what it looks like…

    • AnimusVox

Compared to the first to? Perhaps. In generality? I wouldn’t really say that, considering the 4 guys that were revealed all get to boink Zero anyways without trying to get her attention.
      But that’s just me.

    • DrForbidden

If you think that this game is a harem game, then I don’t think that word means what you think it means…

      • maruhadapurpurine

I think you dont know what I meant. Everytime I see a new thing about this game, it is just about a new female character who dresses like a whore and acts like a whore and how her other sisters are whores, the main character is a whore and everything I have heard about this game just leads me to that conclusion. Its always a new utatai or whatever and how bitchy she is. This is just a harem trying to be an action rpg.

Yoko Taro games follow a theme. Drakengard’s theme was despair, NieR was love, and Drakengard 3 is supposedly sexuality.

It’s fine if you don’t like it, but you should’ve expected this from a Yoko Taro game. His works are always full of really weird stuff.

          • Budgiecat

            hey you skipped #2

            • adhesive

I was under the assumption that Yoko Taro had very little to do with Drakengard 2, if anything, hence its “popularity” among Drakengard fans.

        • DrForbidden

Thank you for your clarification. I understand what you are talking about now, but I still do not think that’s the definition of a harem rpg. A harem game/anime basically follows the theme of one main character recruiting lots of potential partners as followers or admirers. It can be hentai or non-hentai. Despite the revelations of their ‘whorishness’, as you would put it, the other sisters do not appear to be serving the roles of a harem in this game. I don’t think this game can rightly be described as a harem game based on existing information.

          • maruhadapurpurine

you are taking things too literaly dude. But anyways if you want some kind of harem definiton applied to the game, from my point of view it is a harem for the player itself. The game is delivering so much female whore characters with intent to make the player think things like, ” oh this blue one is my fav whore” or “yay the green one will be my waifu” and stuff like that, or so I assume. Thus being a harem not because of character interactions but to the player directly.

            • DrForbidden

I get what you are saying, and I guess it is partly a difference in perception as well. In my opinion, the intent is the most important defining feature of the harem genre. For any game or story with a sufficiently large cast, everyone will have a preferred or favourite character. For example, let’s take FFXIII. It has Lightning, Fang, Vanille, and to a lesser extent, Serah. The ladies have Sazh, Snow, and Hope. Now, if someone says that Vanille is their waifu while another player says that Lightning is their dream woman, does that make FFXIII a harem game? Surely not. The storytellers did not start out with that intent, though the players inevitably foisted their impression on the game. Similarly, I don’t think the intent here is the harem genre, at least not from what I’ve seen thus far.

Nevertheless, than you for an intriguing discussion.:)

              • maruhadapurpurine

well, characters from FFXIII arent the best example, since they made Lightining to make the player think how cool she is, they even said that themselves. So much true that now we gonna have another sequel where you play only as her and can change her clothes like she is some kinda of doll, even boobs jiggling physiscs will be present in the game. Even so I get what you are saying, but I just cant accept that in a industry that so sexualized already they come a bring this game full of stereotyped and sexualized female characters just for the sake of doing it and fanervice to sell. If thats not the point of the game, they are not making an effort to show that, because everything I see about the game leads me to the conclusions I said.

        • new_tradition

I was under the impression it was more so Zero had her own harem of men than being part of one, lol xD

  • Warboss Aohd

    dat face frightenz me.

    • AnimusVox

Haha she is kind of scary looking isn’t she? xD

  • PrinceHeir

    love the eyes :)

  • Josephl64

She’s my fave so far, and am I really the only one who finds that face cute?

  • Willgaea

Can’t believe the weapon she has in the artwork. I know it’s hard to be original with weapons, but scissors?!, come on shelly. On a side note my wife said “That’s the stupidest… stupid.” Haha.

    • Rayhan PromisedGallery

she actually carry twin swords and two scissors, look carefullly

      • Willgaea

I saw the 2 swords, just thought it was weird that she had the scissors active in the picture.Animus cleared it up though.

    • AnimusVox

The reason she has scissors is due to the fact that her hair grows like crazy fast, so always carried them around and is always trimming her hair.
That’s not a joke by the way lol. I was reading that in the newest novel they released on the site.

      • Rohman Aditya ‘Zamboze’ Dharma

i wonder, why the scissor’s sharp edge is on the outer part, and dull side is on inner part? it cannot be used to cut hairs like that isnt it? i think it can be only be used to stab something and and rip them from inside…
or are there any hair scissor designed like that? (i’m not a barber so i don’t know)

      • Willgaea

Alright so she has a hair problem/ gift. I can accept that and move on.

    • DyLaN

Watch Dansai bunri no Crime Edge. Scissors are overpowered.

      • Willgaea

Scissors will only ever be as strong as your thumb and pointing finger. Even if they are magic imbued, it would be better if she enchanted any other true weapon.

  • PhoenixAutomatic~♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪~

Damn, She looks so awesome! Love the Artwork!

  • artemisthemp

    Three is Pretty :)

  • LordKaiser

They don’t look evil at all… Well maybe 5 does.
