PlayStation 3 game is download-only in North America.

Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers is coming to North America exclusively via PlayStation Network in November, Namco Bandai has confirmed.

The PlayStation 3 game already been confirmed for a packaged release in Europe, South America, and Japan. Saint Seiya games don’t normally see release in North America. The previous entry, Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle, never made it here.

Thanks, Crunchyroll.

    That is some great news!

Mexico is also part of North America. And Mexico will have a retail release for the game

for Canada and USA, Mexico is not part of North America

Geographically we are, but when it comes to publishers, sometimes we’re part of Latin America and sometimes we’re our own thing.

I wish they’d made up their minds.

*Sigh* Sometimes, they need to make up their minds. .___.

Well, this is certainly out of left field, lol.

Well, that was surprising. Regardless, it’s a good new North American fans, I suppose.

    • TetsuyaHikari

Yeah, all 10 of them, lol.

      • bloodiOS

*LOL* That sure is a small fanbase.

Well, I can’t imagine there being a whole lot of Saint Seiya fans in NA, honestly. It made sense for them to localize Sanctuary Battle in Europe, but bringing this to NA is like… So odd, lol. I mean, just think about all the games that SHOULD have been localized, but never were, yet we’re getting this one… I don’t even.

The more the merrier, I suppose. I do like Saint Seiya, but I’ll probably pass on this unless it can SOMEHOW look like a competitive fighting game. Otherwise, it’s going to be broken as hell and hard to even take seriously, much like the PS2 fighters for the series.

          • bloodiOS

Yeah, it is quite odd. Also, to be perfectly honest with you, I’ve never actually played any Saint Seiya game. I really liked the anime back then but for some reason the games never really did appeal to me…

As a Hyoga fanboy, I have to say… I’m disappointed to see the lack of blue in his outfit =3=

It looks more of a silver/white combination, which would be fine… If they actually used something besides the original outfits to showcase the other characters, but their outfits all look fine. It’s just his the seems to be colored wrong. Granted, I suppose Shun’s could be a lighter shade of pink, but with Hyoga, they didn’t even get the right shade for his undergarments, lol.

      They need to be bluuuuuuuuuuue~!

I think it’s nice that they’re releasing it here.

  • Zharkiel

You people asked for it, now go buy it, or no complaining next time a publisher decides to skip you over.

Lucky us who live in Latinamerica, will be getting the physical version.
