Monster Hunter Frontier G is coming to PlayStation 3 and Wii U in Japan on November 20 and December 11, respectively, the latest Weekly Famitsu reveals.
The game will be available as a free download on PlayStation Network and the Nintendo eShop. A retail “Beginner’s Package” will be available for 6,090 yen.
On PlayStation 3 and Wii U, the game will play the same as the already-released Xbox 360 and PC versions, but hosted on different servers. The monthly fee is 1,600 yen per month. One week before the game launches, Capcom will host a free test play period.
Trophy support is under consideration for the PlayStation 3 version. The PlayStation 3 Beginner’s Pack will include the following weapons and armor: Stauros Sword, Rondu Sword, Klaus Hammer, Lund Hammer, Crossbow, Yuenbow, and Metri Series.
GamePad play is supported for the Wii U version. The game is compatible with the Wii U Pro Controller, but not with the Wii Nunchuk. Whether you’re able to do anything with 3DS is still under investigation. The Wii U Beginner’s Pack will include the following weapons and armor: Adonis Lapis, Melgai Desolph, Noctabult, Berona Massa, Genea Regilng, Genea Dore, and Amiro Series.
(Those weapon and armor spellings are likely all wrong. Sorry.)
Thanks, Sinobi.
