Monster Hunter 4 adds new monster Generu Serutasu

Capcom has updated the official Japanese website for Monster Hunter 4 with a new species of monster and system details.

Generu Serutasu

Generu Serutasu is a large, beetle-type monster. It has no wings and cannot fly on its own. You can use pheromone gas to call the male Aruserutasu. Its hard shell and heavy-weight power makes this rhinoceros beetle tank-like.

Certain insects can be used as weapons. By strengthening your insect, it will evolve and your weapon will become more advanced.

Strengthening Your Weapons and Evolving Your Insects

As growth points are earned and conditions met, your insect will level up.
